Consistency over time leads to success!

It’s human nature to want success right away. Our society is continually pushing towards having things faster and faster. As much fun as that is for our Amazon purchases and coffee orders, we need to be instilling the value of consistency over time leads to progress and success in your child’s development!

For children doing sports, clubs or activities, encourage and remind them that the greatest results happen not because we want something bad enough or we are willing to practice hard for a day, but instead working on our skills multiple times a week will lead to results. If it’s Tae Kwon Do or baseball - one 6-hour practice doesn’t equal 6 one-hour practices spaced out over 2 or 3 weeks. We can’t cram for success. The greatest athletes and minds work on their endeavors each day.

We are excited to host a rehearsal practice for the Kyung Hee University Tae Kwon Do demonstration team at our Inverness School tomorrow! Students and families are welcome to come and watch the team of 9-15 years old practice and perform starting at 1 pm!
They have flown in from Korea to perform at the Alabama Asian Cultures Festival at the Bessemer Civic Center on Sunday, Nov 17th.
Come cheer them on!
