Come activate your creative prowess and contribute to the event weekend... there's room for all sorts of self expression, just let us know how you roll and we'll work together to make it happen. Parking Lot Movie Night: Violent Saturday

FREE! Wear your favorite Noir 50s outfits! Gate opens at 7 and it starts at dark. This B Noir is shot in Bisbee. It has a questionable plot with fabulous location shooting! The drama includes bank robbers, a peeping tom, a desperate librarian, a boy doubting his fathers manhood, a wife straying and an Amish Farmer? Yes, and more. Many locals played as extras. Watch for the playground fight shot at Central School... basically where the audience will be watching the movie.

If wind or other bad weather we will screen the movie in the theater. Masks are not required for the outdoor screening but we ask that you bing one if we are in the theater. Refreshments by donation! bring a chair or use one of ours. Our movies are free thanks to the generous support of The Bisbee Foundation and the Community Foundation of Southern Arizona.

Outfitted in hard hat, miner’s headlamp and a yellow slicker, thousands of Bisbee visitors ride into the Queen Mine Tour each year—heading underground and back in time. Tour guides, retired Phelps Dodge employees, lead the group 1,500 feet into the mine and recount mining days, techniques, dangers and drama. Adding a personal touch, the miner-turned-tour guides help visitors experience what it was like to work underground.

Tours depart each day, seven days a week, from the Queen Mine Tour Building, located immediately south of Old Bisbee’s business district, off the U.S. 80 interchange.

Prepare yourselves for a Wild Weekend of Fun, Mayhem and Mischief in Bisbee Arizona.

Starting on Friday April 22nd we welcome into town the first annual Weird Wild West vanlife and overlanding gathering.

Later that night there will be a Spring Dance as Acacia Collectibles, The Aerie Movement Studio, and Bisbee Hatchet House invite you to put on your finest party regalia and dancin' shoes for the event of the season at Club Kilimanjahro starting at 8pm.

And all throughout the weekend will be Alice in Bisbeeland! Welcome to the only Alice in Wonderland themed entire town takeover cosplay event in the world! April 22nd through 24th dress up as your favorite Alice in Wonderland character, there will be love music at almost every bar, pub crawl on Saturday afternoon, and Magic Kenny Hatter will behead the Queen of Hearts Saturday at 10PM!

If inclement weather, this screening will be in our theater. CSP is excited to present this documentary from an artist whose life and work is so entwined with the community’s heart.

Chico MacMurtrie's robotic border crossers project is a beautiful odyssey. This film follows the border crossers project based on a simple yet quixotic mission: to design, build, deploy, and choreograph a series of public activations by six robotic sculptures, known as Border Crossers, at several locations along the U.S.–Mexico border, with the support of community members, institutions, and young artists on both sides of the border.

MacMurtrie revisits his Mexican-American roots and confronts the human and environmental toll of today’s militarized border in the process of creating the Border Crossers and directing their quest to peacefully transcend and transgress—for a few brief yet beautiful moments at a time—a series of imposing physical barriers.

The Border Crossers’ first public deployment, following countless rehearsals on MacMurtrie’s ranch in Bisbee, occurred in May 2021 at the border of Naco, Sonora, Mexico and Naco, Arizona.
