Scarborough
of The Tabernacle of Love Church, founded by our LORD and Savior Christ Jesus March of 2014, was called unto salvation January of 1994, and baptized in the name of our LORD and Savior Jesus according to Acts 2:38. Pastor Scarborough is the eldest of three siblings born to Jonathan and Lucille Williams. She joined in marriage to David E. Scarborough on 05 October 1982.
1 Peter 2:9, But
ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of the darkness into his marvelous light. From a dark; unloving; background, Jesus chose her, she accepted His call into her heart, and she is eternally grateful that his love found her, loosed the chains that once held her captive, purified, and sanctified her from the darkness of death and hell; and she is humbled by the impartation of the victory given her by her Lord and Savior Jesus. Matthew 5:6, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteous: for they shall be filled. Minister Scarborough believes that the soul that hunger and thirst after Jesus has already stepped out of the darkness of death and hell into the love, joy, and peace of his marvelous light. She believes that Jesus gave His life in exchange for hers, and thanks Him for this marvelous thing He has done. She asks, “Who wouldn’t serve a God like this?!” She considers Him to be Great, and Greatly to be praised! Minister Scarborough’s heart is often exalted by Psalms 100:3-5 as it reads, “Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that has made us, and not we ourselves: we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good: his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generation.” She believes that HIS people are fearfully and wonderfully made. Minister Scarborough has served as V.P. Youth Department Production Coordinator, Pre-teen and Youth Sunday School teacher, altar worker, and choir member. A native of Bishopville, SC, Pastor Scarborough attended the public schools of Lee County. She received her Master's Degree in Christian Leadership from Grand Canyon University; She also received her Graduate of Theology from Willmington School of the Bible, Liberty University, Lynchburg Virginia; she received her BS in Human Services, Springfield College, School of Professional Studies, Charleston, SC.; She received her Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Concordia University; She received her AD in Public Services, major Early Childhood Education from Central Carolina Technical College, Sumter, SC; she received her CDA (Child Development Associate) Preschool Endorsement from the Council for Professional Recognition, Washington, DC., and She received her SC Early Childhood Credential, as well as, her SC School-Age Credential for Child Care from the SC Center for Child Care Career Development, Greenville, SC. David & Pastor Linda Scarborough have 5 daughters: Adrienne, Kenya, Porcelyn, Jade, and Brooke. They also have 8 grandchildren. The Tabernacle of Love Church
