Credit where credit is due!
I had a day off and was able to go out on a beautiful September Sunday with family from a few states. We went to the Paddle Trap for food and refreshments. They happened to have a Breakfast Buffet and while a simple breakfast, about as many options as I’d want and they get MY vote as the best brunch around!
I’m not sure if it’s a regular thing, but if not, it should be!
The atmosphere alone puts you in a good mood….the staff makes it even better…..now add the buffet options-each item made as good as I’ve had it locally (those that know me, know I’m picky & opinionated).
There were plain scrambled eggs, a ham scramble that I believe also had a light amount of cheese, hashbrowns, sausage links, bacon (and I’m talking meaty bacon done right-so yes, it was crispy), French toast sticks, biscuits and an amazing sausage gravy, some sort of breaded southern fried boneless chicken (incredible) and a rhubarb dessert that just seemed to top it all off. (There was also fruit and one other item my plate didn’t have room for)
Thank you, Paddle Trap and well done. You’ve raised the bar for breakfast buffets!
