The hard work pays off, and we thank every single Wilderness Contestant who voted for our to be the Wilderness Circuit Small Market Rodeo of the Year in Idaho!! We love to ensure you all have the Home Away from Home Hospitality and a great run of Show when you come to our event.

We couldn't do it without our amazing Sponsors, the Eastern Idaho State Fair, our incredible Contract personnel such as Powder River Rodeo LLC, Jill Loden Franzen, Steve Kenyon, Amanda Dilworth and all who work under them, our multiple volunteers and of course the Contestants who choose to compete at our event.

Congratulations to the incredible Gem State Classic Pro Rodeo committee for their recent recognition!

2019 & 2023 had a common theme... our Small but Mighty Hearts at the Blackfoot, Idaho Pro Rodeo put on a rodeo that won us PRCA Small Market Rodeo of the Year!!

Now, thanks to our Dedicated Staff, Volunteers, and Contract Personnel; the Card Holders in the PRCA felt we deserved a Top 5 recognition in our first year of Medium Market!!

We have very few spaces left for units under 8 feet tall. Due to the limited space available, we will not be open tomorrow to receive Winter Storage. On Monday, October 21, we will evaluate the remaining few spaces available under 9' and post an update on Facebook for those hoping to still store with us.

If you're looking for indoor winter storage for your vehicles in Eastern Idaho, EISF has got you covered with over 100,000 square feet of space. You can store your boats, jet skis, RVs, golf carts, classic or performance vehicles here. This option is highly affordable and accessible beginning October 14 on a first-come, first-served basis. You must retrieve your stored units during the second week of April. The storage fee is $9 per linear foot and covers the entire six-month storage period. It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend, Rauhn Panting, late this summer. He was a wonderful man with a huge passion for 4-H, the youth involved, and helping the community in any way he could. We were honored to have him serve as our Grand Marshal in 2015. Rauhn’s dedication and kindness touched the lives of many, and his legacy will continue to inspire us all. Rauhn will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

This beautiful hand-crafted bench, a symbol of Barry Adams' exceptional craftsmanship and resourcefulness, was donated by him to the Fair. Barry, a former Grounds Superintendent, Past Grand Marshal, and now a Best of Show winner in the Hobbies and Crafts Department for 2024, retired from the Fair after 30 years in 2021. His dedication and hard work have significantly contributed to the ground improvements. Barry's creativity was truly showcased when he took the tailgate off a retired fair pickup sold for scrap and transformed it into this beautiful bench. After the Fair, Barry generously donated the winning bench to the Fair, where it now graces the Main Office Lobby of the fairgrounds. Thank you, Barry, for your amazing gift!

The 2024 Eastern Idaho State Fair set a new attendance record with 254,209 attendees, marking the sixth time in the past decade that the Fair has achieved this milestone.

A huge thank you to Grand Champion Sponsors, Bingham Healthcare and Teton Auto Group, for their support, and to The Bank of Commerce for sponsoring the Grandstand Arena, where performances by Journey, Jeff Foxworthy, and Craig Morgan were major highlights. Fair favorites like the Gem State Classic Pro Rodeo, demolition derby, and amazing fair food kept the excitement going throughout the nine-day event, solidifying the Fair’s place as one of the region’s premier events.

The Fair Board's dedication to expanding livestock competitions was evident this year, with a record number of mini-horse entries and a growing dairy goat and beef competition. “The livestock side of our competitions are an integral part of what we do at the Fair. Our mission is to provide wholesome, affordable family education and entertainment in a safe agricultural environment, and livestock competitions are integral to our mission,” said Corey Foster, Board Chairman. General Manager Brandon Bird added, "As we look ahead to next year, we're already planning another lineup of world-class entertainment, exhilarating competitions, and unforgettable experiences."
