Students are encouraged to apply for positions that align closely to their career interests and fields of study. Details regarding the vacancy announcements include:

-- Estimated opening date: 11 January 2017
-- Estimated closing date: 13 January 2017
-- Links to the job opportunity announcements will be distributed once the jobs have opened.
-- Students must apply to one (or more) of the NAVAIR Pathways announcements to be eligible and considered for Pathways employment.
-- Veterans' preference applies.

Students are strongly encouraged to create an account on USAJobs and upload their résumés so they can more quickly apply when the announcements open. Prince George's County Announces 2016 Warming Center Locations
Landover, MD – As we continue to move into the winter season, bitter cold temperatures will become more prevalent. The Prince George’s County Office of Homeland Security/Office of Emergency Management reminds all citizens to take steps to prepare themselves for extreme cold temperatures.
The Office of Emergency Management in collaboration with the Prince George’s County Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission has designated twelve warming centers in the County. Warming centers are heated public facilities where any resident can temporarily go to during periods of extreme cold temperatures to stay warm and safe. Residents are reminded to call the center to obtain specific hours of operation.
