Hello “BOO-tiful” friends! With Halloween just around the corner, we are very excited to share with you another “SPOOK-tacular” party!

This event was a “BOO-day” bash for a precious girlie who was born around Halloween. To kick-off the party, guests were asked to arrive wearing their Halloween costumes. They were entertained with some typical Fall festival favorites such as face painting and a hayride. Shortly after sunset, the littles participated in a glow-in-the-dark trick-or-treating activity which they raved about! To end the night, guests gathered around a fire and enjoyed campfire s’mores under the stars! We think this event was simply perfect as it allowed for a celebration of the birthday girl, as well as, a celebration of the season! Would you consider hosting a BOO Bash?

Today’s install was a bridal luncheon for a BEAUTIFUL bride-to-be that holds a SPECIAL place in our hearts! ❤️💕For this event, we chose to do a PRETTY take on the “Petals and Prosecco” theme. From the beautiful Bloom Bar to the Bubbly Bar to the traditional, Southern cake pull, we think every single detail was simply stunning. 😍

Labor Day is Monday. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙☀️

“Pretty as a Princess” Tea Party 👑 👸

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Do you have a little princess you need to celebrate? If so, celebrate her in style with a party like this one! First, guests arrived in their best royal attire. Next, the little princesses enjoyed being pampered with age-appropriate makeovers, while the noble knights trained. Finally, everyone enjoyed a high tea complete with delectable tea sandwiches, cookies, cakes, and other delicious treats fit for royalty, of course. It was the most MAGICAL day!

This past weekend’s birthday install was nothing short of AMAZING! Do you need to plan a milestone 70th birthday celebration this year? If so, then you should most definitely consider a sweet “Soda Shoppe” theme like this one for your special someone born in the 1950’s! Play into the theme by asking guests to don 50’s attire, play the greatest hits from that decade, and of course, serve up some classic diner favorites like hamburgers, hotdogs, and banana splits. Go RETRO and take them back to the good ole days-you won’t regret it! 😉 ❤️💕

Today’s install was a “Reach for the Stars” kindergarten graduation party. This event, especially, pulled on my heartstrings, as it was celebrated to honor my son and a few of his closest friends. From jumping in the bounce house to snacking on Galactic Goodies, I think it is safe to say that everyone had a BLAST!

For many, the Memorial Day holiday has evolved into much more than what the holiday truly represents. Here at Southern Socials, we are all about celebrating BUT…read on and ponder!

People now, also see, Memorial Day as the kickoff to summer, and therefore often travel, gather for cookouts, etc. We do the same so NO judgement! HOWEVER, this Memorial Day, if you haven’t already, we beg you to pause and really reflect on the phrase “FREEDOM isn’t FREE!” 🇺🇸🦅❤️ We have so much to be grateful for!

Not only on Memorial Day, but EVERYDAY, Southern Socials will ALWAYS remember and honor the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE of our fallen heroes AND pay tribute to ALL soldiers as we have seen firsthand the sacrifices they (AND their families) have made or are currently making to serve and protect our BEAUTIFUL country! A SPECIAL thank you to our grandfathers, father, uncles, friends, and co-workers for your service and dedication and GOD BLESS every American soldier past and present! Thank you for loving our country and giving so selflessly. YOU are true heroes, and we are so very appreciative of you regardless of whether it be Memorial Day, Veterans Day, or any other day of the year.

Hola Amigos! Today’s post showcases an intimate birthday dinner party. This event was dreamed up to reflect SOME favorites of a VERY SPECIAL “client”. For example, we know that she loves the color green. We, also, know that one of her favorite flowers is the yellow rose. In general, she gravitates towards bright, cheerful colors and designs. With that in mind, we decided that a Mexican Fiesta would make for a FABULOUS theme! After all, you can’t go wrong with chips and queso, right?

We provide all the necessary sleepover materials. We set up on your party day, and we return the next day to breakdown and pack up the materials. Easy peasy party planning… ✅

OR maybe you have a DIY spirit and would love to create YOUR own EPIC sleepover for your special someone. If so, we also offer a DIY package for $150. With this package, needed materials are delivered to you on the day of your party. YOU would set it up and break it down the next day, then pack the materials as directed. With all the talk about the Kentucky Derby, we are reminiscing about our daughter’s 4th birthday celebration. At the time, she LOVED horses, so it was only appropriate that we celebrated her special day with a “Best in Show” derby style party. We SO enjoyed planning every aspect of this party. It’s hard to believe, but this little one is now in her DOUBLE DIGITS era!!! Here is a throwback to 2017!

Today’s install was a BEAUTIFUL “Baby in Bloom” themed baby shower for the sweetest Parents-to-Be! ❤️💕🎀🌸🌺

The shower began with a Meet & Greet session where guests enjoyed socializing with each other, while sipping on a cocktail from the “Mom-osa” Bar. In addition to some traditional shower activities, there was also a Diaper Raffle, BEAUTIFUL balloon garlands and backdrops for photo opportunities, and even a Bloom Bar where guests made flower bouquets to take on their way. The Bloom Bar, which is currently very on trend, served as an actual shower activity, as well as, provided party favors for guests.

We were very HONORED to be a part of this most SPECIAL event!

This SWEET SIX Celebration was simply DELECTABLE from beginning to end!!!!! It was the MOST PERFECT choice for a birthday girl who has always been passionate about cooking and baking!

Upon arrival, each guest was given an absolutely ADORABLE, personalized, chef hat and apron, which also doubled as one of the take home party favors. After donning their chef’s attire, the girls were ready for some cooking fun! From learning how to make homemade pizza, to assembling fruit skewers, to crafting their own perfect design of cupcakes, the birthday girl and her friends were full of LAUGHS and SMILES the entire party. What more could we ask for?
