BARREL RACERS…Be sure to make plans to join your fellow can chasers at the Union County Saddle Club arena for a very special benefit barrel race and dessert auction.

The Union County Saddle Club is hosting a FALL FUN RUN and DESSERT AUCTION on Saturday, November 23rd at the Union County Saddle Club arena to benefit a sweet little boy, named Kayson, who is suffering from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).

All proceeds from this event and dessert auction go to the family of Kayson Hemphill

Shout out to the kiddos that participated in our 2024 Halloween Costume Contest yesterday at the arena! Top 3 winners were: "Katniss Everdeen", "Grim Reaper", and "Cruella de Vil". Everyone did a great job with their costume designs!

The Sorghum Festival parade is this Saturday, October 12. If you wish to ride your horse in the parade, please be saddled and ready by around 9:30 am. Parade will start at 10:00. The Parade is rain or Shine. If you have any Questions contact Vanna Chambers.

The arena will be open tomorrow (9/28) for riding BUT the parking areas are super saturated! Stay on the gravel areas to avoid getting stuck!

ATTENTION SADDLE CLUB MEMBERS AND LOCAL HORSE OWNERS!!!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS.!!!
Our 2024 Fall Special Invitational Show for riders with special needs is scheduled Saturday morning, September 21st from 10:00am - 11:00am at the Saddle Club arena. We always have great attendance by our special needs guests that attend, WE NEED SAFE HORSES AND VOLUNTEERS to walk with/alongside the horses as our VIPs are led around the arena. This event brings so much joy to those who otherwise could not ride, but also to all of the volunteers that participate.

If you can bring a horse and/or volunteer for this event, it would be very much appreciated. Please let us know of your availability by emailing Kayla Murphy our Saddle Club Secretary ([email protected]) as soon as possible. Horses need to be saddled and ready to go by 10:00am the morning of the event. Riding will conclude at 11:00am and we will be serving lunch immediately following. We could use volunteers to assist in serving lunch to our guests, as well.
