Start your Summer Season with an Old-Fashioned Barn Dance! Join us for a night of dancing! Whether you bring your own dinner or choose one of our catered options, the atmosphere of live traditional music and a picturesque setting will transport you back to a simpler time. After dinner, the dancing will begin with lessons led by our square dance caller, Keith Brintzenhoff, accompanied by a live band of local musicians. While it is not required, all guests are encouraged to come dressed in their “historic” best! General admission includes beverages and barn dance desserts. PATCHTOWN DAYS – Eckley Miner's Village
Celebrate the heritage of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s anthracite communities at Eckley’s 34th annual Patchtown Days!
Running Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16, from 10am-4pm, Patchtown Days will feature hands-on history, handmade crafts, live music and dance, trade demonstrations, reenactments, and more. Alta Pizzeria & Pasta House and Eat Up Now food trucks will be cooking up regional cuisine, and Conyngham Brewing Company will be on hand to wet your whistle. It’s a “coalcracker” spectacular you won’t want to miss. I’llbe there with several local musicians both days. – For more info, click the link --> http://eckleyminersvillage.com/patchtown_2024/.
