After reigning for 70 years, Queen Elizabeth II as passed away at the age of 96. Her reign spanned 15 prime ministers starting with Winston Churchill, born in 1874, and including Liz Truss, born 101 years later in 1975, and appointed by the Queen earlier this week.

Queen Elizabeth II has died, Buckingham Palace has announced.

Inventory and Receiving Clerk

Job description
BlockBuster Costumes is hiring energetic inventory and receiving professionals to staff our operations facility. Daily activities include but are not limited to: unloading trucks/shipping containers with a pallet jack and sometimes by hand, Separating all merchandise by sku, counting, and stocking in the correct areas. We use tablets/computers in all aspects of the job, so the right candidate will need to be comfortable with this technology, as well as have strong organizational skills, and motivated to work quickly. INVENTORY & RECEIVING CLERK ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Organize items to company standards
• Stock inventory
• Identify damaged or missing merchandise and notify Team Lead
• Assist with receiving
• Assist with shipping and fulfillment of customer orders as needed
• Pick/pack orders using company standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Able to climb rolling staircases and/or ladders
• Able to work on foot for extended periods
• Basic skill set for use of tablets, scanners, & computers required
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 yrs previous inventory experience preferred
• Reliable mode of transportation
Candidate must be organized and able to take direction for daily duties, be goal oriented, be open to accepting opportunities for improvement, and be comfortable working in a physically demanding high paced environment. Successful applicant must have an energetic and positive attitude. We want team players who work hard to hit the prescribed timelines and contribute to a positive workplace. WAREHOUSE ADMINISTRATOR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Warehouse Administrator roll is a unique position within a fast-paced warehouse. The skill set required for this position is unique, in that this person will need to bridge the gap between customer service and our fulfillment staff. Although a significant amount of this position is spent behind a desk, a good portion of the day is spent in the warehouse. Candidates will be trained on our fulfillment, shipping, returns and customer service processes, and if offered the position will be required to perform each of these functions periodically. They will also use our proprietary back-end system and eCommerce platform system to research order/inventory information. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Critical Thinking and Decision Making
• Communicating with customers across multiple online marketplaces
• Use of email, marketplace messaging, chat client, & telephones
• Calculating pricing and return rates
• Process returns within each marketplaces' regulations and timelines
• Oversight of issues requiring critical attention including: postage issues, bad addresses, no movement, can't find, inventory issues, etc
• Assist with shipping and fulfillment of customer orders
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Typing speed of 40 wpm preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work both on foot and seated for long periods of time
• Capable of lifting 25 pounds unassisted
• Reliable mode of transportation
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and Outlook is preferred
• Understanding of e-commerce retailing preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 yrs previous eCommerce customer service experience preferred
Candidate must be organized and able to take direction for daily duties, be goal oriented, and be comfortable working in a high paced environment. Successful applicant must have an energetic and positive attitude, and be able to work both independently and as a team. Opportunities for overtime and advancement available.
