❄️Venue/ Catering: The Iroquois Club in Bloomfield Twp, MI. Katelyn helped us create our dream wedding. We had about 60 guests and did both our ceremony and reception here. Our guests are still raving about the experience and the food!
❄️DJ/ Lighting: Uptempo Entertainment Matthew Swiftney did a great job with every aspect! I highly recommend him. We booked well over a year out and Matt and his periodic check ins and attention to detail made us feel like a priority. His set up is sleek and classy, he played every song we requested and everyone danced the whole time! Lighting helped set the vibe for dinner and dancing. He also helped us with our timeline during planning and the night of! I cannot recommend enough!
❄️Photography: Emma Varley Photography did an amazing job with our engagement and wedding photos. As of right now we got our sneak peek back! Emma is so kind and caring, she made us feel comfortable and posed us so well! As two people who aren’t comfortable being in front of the camera, Emma helped us love these photos in every way! We are so excited to the rest of our photos and I cannot recommend Emma Varley Photography enough!!
❄️Rings: Vickie at Blue Nile at Somerset. After the wrong sizes were ordered we only had 6 days to order our rings. With a minimum 7 day turn around during the busiest shipping time of the year, Vickie made sure we got our rings before our big day!
❄️Flowers: DIY from Trader Joe’s in Rochester.

Grad party season is so fun! 📷 David Poppe

Believe it or not, this extravagant celebration is *not* a wedding. It's a henna and bridal shower for a gorgeous couple called Niaam and Noor. As part of their special day, they hired Amal, a henna artist, to create henna designs. According to Amal, the couple's area is decorated with fresh flowers, vases and pedestals displaying henna freshly mixed in a bowl, the bride's gold gifted to her from the groom, and some traditional favors. These trays are carried in by the family members and danced with until henna is allowed for the bride, groom and close relatives. This family was from Mosul, Iraq, and it is traditional for them to apply henna on the pinky finger and wrap it up. At the end of the Reel, you can see the bride with her pinky wrapped up along with the henna design on her hand! She looks absolutely beautiful! Congratulations to this lovely couple!
