Hark, noble lords and fair ladies! Hoosier Officiant has added a new Short & Sweet wedding ceremony!

The Ye Olde Wedding Ceremony is for the playful pair who revel in the pageantry and revelry of a traditional Renaissance faire. Harkening back to a time when men were lords, women were ladies, and chivalry and merriment reigned supreme, this ceremony is penned in the language of the king and dedicated to the glory of the queen. Borrowing verses from renowned bards of both past and present, it provides a tapestry of eloquence on which to begin a splendid matrimonial celebration. Huzzah!

About Me

I have always loved weddings. I love helping to plan weddings. I love being in weddings. I love going to weddings. I even love looking at wedding pictures online of people I don’t know.

I originally became ordained when my nephew and his fiancée were planning their wedding and looking for a secular officiant. I offered to get ordained and officiate a customized secular wedding ceremony for them. Soon after, I was asked to officiate two more weddings for a friend and a family member. I enjoyed it so much I started offering my services to other couples.

I specialize in customized ceremonies, often including favorite poetry or song lyrics, personal stories about the couple, inside jokes, and quotes from the couple and/or friends and family members in the ceremony address. However, I can also do traditional ceremonies if that is what the couple desires.
