This bouquet has a neat story too!

A couple got married and lived in a different city and every year for their anniversary he would order a bouquet to match their wedding flowers from the florist.

They recently moved to Bloomington and I received a call from their florist who wanted to pass the baton off to me. She read our story on our website and looked at pictures of our work and had a good feeling about us! She went over what all was in the bouquet and text a picture of a previous years arrangement.

The transition was easy for him and I felt so touched that she picked us to now take care of her beloved customer.

The customer and his wife absolutely loved the bouquet!

There's quite the story behind this bouquet. This is a great example of why you shouldn't order your wedding bouquet off of the internet. What you see in the picture is not necessarily what you will get. Always talk to a real Florist. Don't order online . Don't order thought a middle man either. While the bouquet received closely resembled the picture, the quality and design was not liked by the bride. (It was pretty bad!)

Sunday morning I received a frantic text as follows. (Yes, I was still sleeping 😅)

Hi there, my name is (omitted) and I have an urgent Floral need. May I give you a call? Your work is —-it is an urgent need for a brides bouquet because we have a very sad bride over an online bouquet that ended up being awful! The need is for a wedding tomorrow! Yes, I know it is on a Monday😑

I called her and found out that she is the best friend of the mother of the bride. They live in Texas and she had created the bridal party bouquets as well as the centerpieces and other decorations in silk flowers. The mother of the bride brought them to Bloomington in her car.

The bride however, ordered her wedding bouquet online. What she thought she was getting and what she received wasn't what she had pictured! She was going to settle for a bouquet she didn't even like but her mom and her mom's best friend set out to remedy the situation! Take a look below at the pictures of what she thought she was getting versus what she received.

Little did I know that my plans of making applesauce, doing laundry and picking up around the house were about to change. I had a momentary panic because my husband was at work with the car and my truck key was at work🥴. Luckily, I found a spare at home. I was in business now that I had my wheels confirmed!!

I drove into town and went to three places to get flowers that coordinated with the silk ones that the best friend had made. Thank goodness for being able to text pictures!❤️

I called the mom and had her bring the bouquet from online so I could take it apart and possibly incorporate part of it with the fresh flowers. She also brought one of the bouquets for the girls that the best friend had made. She wanted the bride's bouquet bigger than theirs. Check out the pictures below of the bouquet that I made and the picture of the two together.

They were all soooo very accommodating in getting to me quickly for dropping items off and picking the bouquet up. 🥰

I'm so happy that I could make this day perfect for this couple, the mom who is trying to help her daughter and the best friend as well! I know they were so appreciative and it warms my heart so much to have been able and in a position to help make this day special. Flowers, especially the wedding bouquet, are in all the pictures and memories. It was important to me to help them in their time of need. I also made the groom a free boutonniere so they could match.

This may look like "just a tablecloth." But, sometimes the little things make all the difference in the world. Mom was trying to cut the tulle pieces and she couldn't see them on the white table. We got this heavy duty wipe-able cloth that is a darker color to see the tulle, will withstand our abuse and matches the store decor. Sometimes, the little things make all the difference!!
