If my business EVER disappoints you when we have created an order for you, please let us know. We are one of the most honest businesses that you will ever find because we know you want quality and "love" in your order. We do not scam our customers and we would never stoop to a lower standard. We do have higher prices than grocery store chains, why?

Well, I'm going to be frank... our flowers will leave Ecuador tomorrow and arrive to our door by an adorable UPS man that loves "lily hugs" on Tuesday morning about 10-11 a.m. (4 days travel to drinking cut with additives in your water to help your flowers last 2-3 weeks if water is properly kept clean). We have arrivals of these flowers daily. We pay more for this reason, Monday-Friday. Our costs include Air-freight from Ecuador to Miami, then UPS to us.$$$$$.

Grocery store chain flowers are put into cold storage when they arrive by air-freight internationally (1-4 days). These flower boxes are on pallets and await sales to wholesale food companies (1-5 days). After companies purchase these flowers they are trucked from Houston, Miami, Orlando, etc. to their respective designation across the USA. While this SEMI driver is trucking your flowers across the US it has multiple cities it has to drop those floral pallets to. There are days involved in travel (1-3 days). Upon arrival to the grocery store warehouse the floral pallets are tucked nicely into the cold storage warehouses and await for grocery store cooler shelves. (1-2 weeks). The individual stores await make the first "drinking cut" and then they strive for quality, longevity and beauty of the gift you want to give. 10 days to 26 days time frame without a drink for something delicate as a flower is...uncalled for.

They are cheaper, I agree. Sometimes you find ones that last a while, sometimes they are dead in 2 days. THEY ARE DELICATE FLOWERS, let alone highly perishable without proper care.

How many days do ours last? -I hear the ratio is extraordinary, compared to a store chain. Our reviews on our website www.bloomintons.net
paints a great story of our passion for Floristry.

We also have www.bloomintons.com website for more floral choices for those that like 200+ things to choose from.

Our flowers are better than any grocery store chain deal. If they are not, I need to know. Pretty simple and reasonable to ask of anyone that trusts us with sending their sentiments.

As a previous freight distributor (aka, semi-trucking background), I know how flowers are hauled and maintained while witnessing the process.

Buy local at your hometown florist, wherever you may be. Chose a florist that strives for the same quality and costs, so that your bouquet lasts longer, and you actually feel like you have your money's worth.

We are going to be in at 12pm today since the snow has caused slideoffs on I69 the Interstate we have to travel to Btown. We are going to let the State workers do their jobs so we can have a safe travel to Bloomington. We will stay open late to accommodate anyone who needs a delivery today.

02/16/2021

We are definitely closed Tuesday.

02/15/2021

We are closed today as we needed a much deserved rest after last week, and we will see how the weather is tomorrow morning to determine if we should risk the drive south to Btown as we all live 1/2 hour north of the city (in good weather). I am answering calls remotely and giving recommendations for other shops in town to fulfill orders if needed.

Please stay safe out there today and tomorrow.

We are open until 2PM for Valentine's Day bouquet needs.NO Delivery today.

If you are able to drive to our shop it would be easier and quicker than trying to call on the phone to order flowers for VDAY. The phone was non-stop and we even stopped our website to catch up to make sure everyone gets the product or similar products that were pre-ordered. We have extra flowers that we can start selling at 9:00 am 2/12/21

NOT EVERY FLOWER is available this year due to grower shortages from the California wildfires, and COVID shutting growers down globally. For all that happening...we do have a great selection available for Vday surprises.

It's best to do a florist design πŸ‘Œ at this point!

Warning to EVERYONE purchasing flowers for Valentines Day:

Call your LOCAL Florist EARLY and get your order in because DEMAND IS SKYROCKING since everyone is staying in their homes and not getting out.

OUR SHOP is delivering Vday flowers Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Sunday we will be open for walk-in customers and curbside customers who are picking up pre-orders.

If we run out of flowers we will likely not be able to find what you are looking for.

Friday our Ecuadorian bouquets will arrive for delivery. 50$ vased. 30 stems of flowers including some roses and colors will vary. We cannot guarantee all RED bouquets.

We will also have our SHORT cup bouquets for $23.00 that have 16 stems of flowers. THESE ARE ECONOMICAL for those on a smaller budget.

We are at the mercy of our Growers at this point for flowers of any type.

Can you imagine how many flower shops are ordering at the same time from Countries that have not even reopened fully... yikes!

To all of our customers that have stuck by our side through this Covid pandemic and the lack of flowers/goods. What this year has taught me is that manufacturing for businesses needs to return home to the US along with more floral growers. We have tried our best to source the freshest goods/ and hardgoods material with similar styles, higher costs, and increased shipping costs. This year has not been the easiest for any small business in the USA or globally for that matter and especially for a Florist. We have managed to survive this year because of you all and your generosity to support your friends/loved ones who are stuck to their homes for now what they call work! So with that, we say thank you for your tremendous support and Happy Holidays!

Plus thanks for saving the Bees... we have to be here for bigger reasons and that is to support the BEE POPULATION and its survival. Without growers/florists/consumers our pollinators will be extinct and therefore vegetation in all forms is extinct for mankind.

Even if you don't use our services please support your local greenhouse growers/florists/Floral Farms/Roadside Farms (- which are sometimes the best finds).
