If my business EVER disappoints you when we have created an order for you, please let us know. We are one of the most honest businesses that you will ever find because we know you want quality and "love" in your order. We do not scam our customers and we would never stoop to a lower standard. We do have higher prices than grocery store chains, why?
Well, I'm going to be frank... our flowers will leave Ecuador tomorrow and arrive to our door by an adorable UPS man that loves "lily hugs" on Tuesday morning about 10-11 a.m. (4 days travel to drinking cut with additives in your water to help your flowers last 2-3 weeks if water is properly kept clean). We have arrivals of these flowers daily. We pay more for this reason, Monday-Friday. Our costs include Air-freight from Ecuador to Miami, then UPS to us.$$$$$.
Grocery store chain flowers are put into cold storage when they arrive by air-freight internationally (1-4 days). These flower boxes are on pallets and await sales to wholesale food companies (1-5 days). After companies purchase these flowers they are trucked from Houston, Miami, Orlando, etc. to their respective designation across the USA. While this SEMI driver is trucking your flowers across the US it has multiple cities it has to drop those floral pallets to. There are days involved in travel (1-3 days). Upon arrival to the grocery store warehouse the floral pallets are tucked nicely into the cold storage warehouses and await for grocery store cooler shelves. (1-2 weeks). The individual stores await make the first "drinking cut" and then they strive for quality, longevity and beauty of the gift you want to give. 10 days to 26 days time frame without a drink for something delicate as a flower is...uncalled for.
They are cheaper, I agree. Sometimes you find ones that last a while, sometimes they are dead in 2 days. THEY ARE DELICATE FLOWERS, let alone highly perishable without proper care.
How many days do ours last? -I hear the ratio is extraordinary, compared to a store chain. Our reviews on our website www.bloomintons.net
paints a great story of our passion for Floristry.
We also have www.bloomintons.com website for more floral choices for those that like 200+ things to choose from.
Our flowers are better than any grocery store chain deal. If they are not, I need to know. Pretty simple and reasonable to ask of anyone that trusts us with sending their sentiments.
As a previous freight distributor (aka, semi-trucking background), I know how flowers are hauled and maintained while witnessing the process.
