Soul Trip revives classic blues tunes from the 50s, funky soulful rhythms from the 60s, classic rock anthems from the 70s, and gritty songs from the 90s. Oliver fronts the band on lead vocals and plays blazing harmonica solos over a solid rhythm section. Come on out this and see why their following has been growing consistently these past few months.

Hoping everyone had a great time this weekend; there was plenty to do in Humboldt and here in sunny Blue Lake :) Now, for the week to come in the Wave Lounge!

Tonight we have karaoke with Treat Yourself Entertainment! Pick a few songs and come try them out while enjoying a Powers Creek brew! On night we have Reel Genius Trivia returning for their bi-weekly Trivia Night, which is always a blast. Come out with some friends and see if your team will reign supreme!

Treat Yourself Entertainment has officially returned to the Wave Lounge! Every Monday for the rest of 2024, Blue Lake Casino is hosting karaoke night from 8pm – 11pm. The karaoke contest is over, and a big congratulations to the winner Jimi! He knocked Don't Stop Believin' out of the park last week! Thankfully the end of the contest is NOT the end of karaoke! Treat Yourself Entertainment will be hosting karaoke every Monday through the rest of the year. Come on out and sing to your heart's content while enjoying some food and drink.

night we have the return of DJ Statik spinning old-school Hip-Hop and R&B. night we have DJ Pachanguero bringing his Latin Night, which is always a good time to show off those dance moves. Don't be nervous if you don't know how to dance to these rhythms, there are plenty of friendly people willing to show you how it's done. This we have Southern Oregon cover band Takilma visiting to rock the Wave Lounge. They’ve been touring the west coast since 1996 and have played everything from local dive bars to festival main stages with their blend of classic rock and blues. Takilma always brings tasty rock jams that keep the people shuffling their feet and asking for more.

Are you a fan of the Grateful Dead? Then you owe it to yourself to come down to the Wave Lounge this night to see local band Grateful Getdown! They formed back in 2019; over the years they have evolved into one of Northern California’s premier Dead music experiences. They lovingly pay homage to the Dead while pushing their own musical and creative boundaries.

They will be playing from 8pm - 12am!

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend at Hops In Humboldt and was able to stay dry during that quick storm! We have a busy week in store for you here in the Wave Lounge.

we have the Karaoke Finals hosted by Treat Yourself Entertainment! Twelve singers will be choosing their best songs and singing for our audience and judges to see who walks away with the $500 grand prize! Our guest judge is the winner of the previous contest and local musician Rye Stone. Contest begins at 8pm; TYE will be hosting normal karaoke until 11pm once the contestants have all sung.

night at 6:30pm we have our biweekly Trivia Night with Reel Genius Trivia. Come on out with friends or make some new ones here at the lounge and see if you can win some prizes from the casino! Tonight at 8pm, we have the final qualifying round of our Karaoke Contest with Treat Yourself Entertainment! Sign-ups start at 6pm at the Player's Club; $10 entry fee with a maximum of twelve contestants! The top four scores tonight move onto the final round next Monday for a chance to win $500!

Making his DJ debut in the Wave Lounge, we have none other than one of the hardest working individuals in the county, DJ D Funk! He will be spinning 90s club hits on evening. Then on we have local favorites The Undercovers bringing their expansive catalogue to the lounge for your dancing and listening pleasure. Then, closing out the week we have So-Hum blues-rock band Blu Axis playing for you all night. Plenty to do this week at the Wave, so come on out, have a drink (or mocktail), and dance the night away.

A Banjo Makes 3 is keeping traditional bluegrass alive with the sounds of Jimmy Martin, Flatt & Scruggs, and Bill Monroe, to name a few. A Humboldt-based 4-piece band featuring Charlie Sleep on guitar and vocals, Doc Wolgum pickin’ on the mandolin and singing, Kevin Ralston on banjo, and Larissa Sleep holds down the bottom end on upright bass. They will have special guest Rob George on fiddle. Their driving old-school “stompgrass” will keep your toes tapping and moving on the dance floor all night long.
