So many memories were made in this big red barn in 2024! We hosted weddings, birthdays, prom parties, square dances, gender reveals, anniversary celebrations, Celebration of Life services, baby showers, family reunions, cake walks, chili cook-offs, company picnics, corporate events and so much more. Memories were made that will last a lifetime!

As we roll into 2025, we pray for our family, customers/friends, our Country, our economy, our small business as well as other small businesses. We wish you a very healthy, prosperous and blessed year! We are looking forward to a lot of new things at the farm this year and we can’t wait to see you! ❤️

PROJECT “FIFTY FOR FENDER’S” Event Update!

We have a date! Please join us on Saturday, November 30th from 9am to 5pm for a day of hard work, teamwork, community interaction and fellowship by lending a helping hand in the re-build / cleanup of Fender's Farm!

As we announced earlier this month, we are looking for 50 volunteers to assist us with this project. We asked and YOU answered with “COUNT ME IN”! The responses in our post, the personal messages, texts and phone calls show that GOOD PEOPLE are all around us and Mr. and Mrs. Fender are about to be showered with love and compassion. This is how to SHOW UP folks and we THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!

We are still asking for volunteers to join us and we especially need volunteers who have tools and trucks. Bring your kids. Bring your neighbors. Bring your co-workers. Bring your entire family! Can you think of a better way to spend Thanksgiving weekend?!?! The Stickley Farm will be providing lunch for all volunteers and we promise that it will not be turkey! LOL 🦃🦃🦃

There will also be a Pumpkin Shoot Fundraiser at Fender’s Farm on November 30th at 11am if anyone is interested in participating. All proceeds will go toward the rebuild of Fender’s Farm. More info regarding the Pumpkin Shoot coming soon. Stay posted! 🎃

We would like to say THANK YOU to our customers, our sponsors, our vendors and the entire farm and haunt crew for another very successful and blessed fall season at The Stickley Farm. We couldn’t do it without you! We work hard throughout the entire year to make sure that the farm is a place that you want to share with the people who mean the most to you. The smiles, laughter and reviews let us know that we are doing something right and as long as you promise to keep visiting, we promise to always do our best to provide you with a great experience. We fall short sometimes but we do try and we will do our best to make your experience all that you expect it to be. Your feedback and suggestions are welcomed and are appreciated more than you can imagine!

This week our management team took a day trip to visit Fender’s Farm in Jonesborough, TN. We had the pleasure of spending time with Mr. Carroll Fender and his lovely wife. Prior to opening for the season, Fender’s Farm experienced catastrophic damage from flooding which caused them to close down all farm operations…possibly indefinitely.

When you are in this type of business…especially agritourism…a hit like this plus the loss of business for 5 weeks during the busiest month of the year is devastating and sometimes it is impossible to make a comeback. The farm was not covered with flood insurance so they will not have any monetary assistance in rebuilding their farm. After a heartbreaking guided tour through the mass destruction, we left there with tears in our eyes, heavy hearts and a desire to help in any way we can. We met 3 volunteers who were helping at the farm that day. A man, his wife and their young son had just finished painting a fence and they shared with us that they were former customers and were determined to help in the rebuild of their favorite farm.

Money is definitely needed but at the moment, elbow grease is what is needed to help with the cleanup. If we could get 50 people to volunteer an 8 hour day, just imagine the impact this would have and how much it would mean to this family. We are pretty certain that our entire staff, many of our vendors and most of our sponsors will be happy to assist so we are coming to you…our beloved customers and friends…to ask for your help in assisting in the cleanup / rebuild of Fender’s Farm. Some are not physically able and we totally get that but if you are able and willing to help can we get a “COUNT ME IN”? We will provide lunch for the entire volunteer crew! Let’s plan a day and roll up at that farm…TOGETHER! How amazing would that be?

Have you ever noticed that when Santa enters the room (or in this case…a big, red barn) everyone gets a big smile on their face and the spirit of Christmas fills the air? Well, that is exactly what happened this past weekend when Santa made a surprise appearance at our Fall Into Christmas Craft & Vendor Market! The young, as well as the young at heart, welcomed Santa with huge smiles, warm hugs and Christmas cheer. ❤️🎅🎄

Santa will be making another appearance at The Stickley Farm on Saturday, December 14th from 8:30am to 10:30am for our Breakfast With Santa! More information regarding this event will be posted soon so make sure to follow us. ❤️
