Spring Creek Dahlias

Spring Creek Dahlias We are a small family run flower farm in Boalsburg PA specializing in Dahlias and other cut flowers. Beginning 2022 we will be selling Dahlia tubers.

We supply local florists and can provide you with beautiful bouquet for your table or occasion. We are a small family run flower farm in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania specializing in Dahlia tubers and select dahlias for cut flower arrangements and weddings. We also grow Delphinium, Larkspur and SweetPeas as well as other cut flowers that are seasonally available. We sell most of our dahlias and other cu

t flowers through local florists and also have fresh bouquets available Tuesdays and Fridays during the summer at Maine Bay & Berry Co. in Lemont, PA. Tuber Sources and Culture: All of our tubers are grown on our farm in Boalsburg. We do not resell imported tubers or pot roots. We make every effort to inspect plants and tubers for disease and use disinfecting solutions between plants for tools when cutting flowers, vegetative growth at end of season and when digging tubers to help prevent potential disease spread. For 2024 tubers no leafy or crown gall was detected on tuber clumps dug and stored for fall 2023. Ordering: The number of tubers available for each variety will show up in their description in the Facebook Shop. Placing a tuber in your cart does not reserve it for you. If an item sells out before you check out, even if it is in your cart, you will not be able to purchase this item, although you can still purchase the remaining tubers in your cart. To purchase items in your cart that are still available, click on the checkbox right next to the items so that they can proceed to the check out. If there are fewer tubers still available than the number in your cart you will be able to see that number and reduce your number to that value in order to purchase. Shipping and Shipping Costs: We sell tubers through our SHOP on Facebook, and use US Postal Service Priority Mail for shipping. Meta requires shipping by 28 days after order is placed, but this requirement is satisfied if the shipping label is printed within 28 days, (not actual shipping) allowing us to delay taking boxes to post office until after the danger of freezing temperatures has passed, in general by the second weekend of April for most zones. If you want tubers earlier than that we can include a warming pack that can be purchased through our shop, but there is no guarantee that this will keep your tubers from freezing. Please note that you will receive notification from Meta that the order has shipped when we print the shipping label, but as indicated earlier we will delay actual shipping until temperatures have warmed up in the spring. We use US Postal Service Priority Mail shipping. On Facebook Shops there is only 1 default shipping charge allowed when placing an order. The default is $17.10 for a medium priority mail box. However, depending on your distance (USPS zone) and total weight the shipping charge will likely be less but I won't know this until I put the order together and weigh the box. I will refund the difference in shipping costs through Facebook. Unfortunately we cannot combine separate orders. Dahlia Tuber Returns: Dahlia tubers will be shipped with at least one visible eye. We are not liable for any damage or loss resulting from storage, weather conditions, or rodent damage. Tubers sprout at different times depending on the dahlia variety from 2 weeks to 6 weeks but we try to send tubers that have started to sprout so they will be ready to plant or pot up when you receive them. If you are not satisfied with your tuber please contact and let me know any concerns about the dahlia tuber by July 31st of the current growing season. Our replacement policy is limited to the purchase price of the tubers only and shipping costs are nonrefundable. Privacy Policy: We do not share or sell any contact information such as email addresses or other information with anyone else, period.

20th Avenue Softer Peach is new for me this year and wow it is an amazing dahlia. Not only are the flowers beautiful but the plant, when cut, keeps branching and branching and producing lots of flowers. Its pretty tall has a nice bushy shape.

Hollyhill Serenity
Interestingly - in the high heat of July all of the blooms were yellow. Now that it has cooled down in the evening a bit the color has changed and much prettier.
