Our Story
Treasured Moments Bridal & Formal Wear opened in 2004 on Market St. in Boardman, OH, taking over what was then Tova’s Bridal. Over the next 14 years, Mark and Lorraine Fulks grew the business and moved it to it’s current location on 224, across from the Southern Park Mall. In 2018, the Fulks’s retired and sold the shop to it’s current owner, Sara Ludt.
Sara is originally from the Youngstown area, graduating from Cardinal Mooney High School and then from Youngstown State University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. She started as a seamstress at Treasured Moments in 2014, and then moved to North Carolina where she worked for The Wedding Dress Shoppe, in Wilmington. In the summer of 2018, she moved back to the Youngstown area to purchase the store.
Treasured Moments has kept it’s boutique atmosphere and premier service, but also plans to grow under the new ownership. A new, third modeling platform has been added to our dressing area. Our website and all forms of social media have been updated. We are bringing in new, exciting designers. Please stop in and meet our staff.
