What a year! Not only did we receive a record high in application submissions, but our team was able to break our record for total scholarships awarded! We proudly awarded $4.4 million to 216 ! The need for financial support in higher education has continued to increase. Knowing this, our team is incredibly grateful to our community for helping us serve more and more deserving students! Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Rick Versace moved to South Florida in 1996 and built what would eventually become A1A Airport & Limousine Service. An entrepreneurial spirit, he formed Arrow Security Corporation in 2000 and most recently ventured into the golf apparel business with his son, where Proud 90 is featured in most of the best pro shops around the country. Rick and his wife Peggy know the importance of generosity, dedicating their time and resources to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Cancer Research Hospital, and now, the George Snow Scholarship Fund. She sits on the State Board of Directors for Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association and the Deerfield Beach Economic Development Council.
