So pleased and proud: Another Thanksgiving hit at Chez Marie Restaurant! We had 3 courses and could choose a Traditional Turkey Dinner or authentic French cuisine. All chose dinner with a French flair ( pumpkin bisque, escargots or authentic Onion Soup (loved the cheese melted on top), Duck a L'Orange and varied desserts (chocolate mousse or fondant, pumpkin spice creme brulee.) Many thanks to beautiful owner, Marie, and our excellent server, Pierre. Everyone loved it and wants to do a repeat performance next year!!

I enjoyed "Stepping Out" with friends tonight to see "The Cher Show" at The Broward Center. Good story of Cher's life and rise to fame, gorgeous costumes, her famous songs and good dancing. Musical Numbers were "If I Could Turn Back Time", "Half Breed", "I Got You Babe", "The Beat Goes On" and a fabulous Finale that got everyone up moving and applauding!

At the epic, charity event of the year: The 10th Annual Brain Bowl Luncheon created by Atty. Pamela Higer-Polani to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's, Dementia and Parkinson's. This year featured speaker Tim Tebow, football quarterback, drew a whopping 800+ attendees who enjoyed the Sold Out event with luncheon, raffles, live & silent auction, complimentary Champagne & mimosas and more!

I met Groucho tonight! Or, at least it sure felt like I did. I saw a very realistic performance called "An Evening With Groucho" at The Wick Theater in Boca. If you were a Groucho fan, you'll be mesmerized by actor Frank Ferrante who has the clothes, looks and voice done just right. As they say, "he nailed it." The show was written and created by Ferrante who has admired Groucho since he was 9. He loved Groucho 's wildness and wisecracks, his irreverence and brashness. He knew by age 14 this would be his career Think you'll get a kick out of his Groucho style whirling and duck walk? Yes, like the title of Groucho's quiz show in later years, "You Bet Your Life." I am so beyond thrilled to be asked again to be a Food Judge at the fundraiser for the Boca Bowl. Once again, 6 of us "Judges" will be on the stage as 40+ restaurants serve us food samplings in the Great Chefs Tailgate Showcase! I share the stage with other celebrities (a former Miami Dolphins legend, for one!) as we rate our favorite bites and brews. Come on over to the Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC) located at 4950 Communication Ave., Boca Raton, just off Yamato Rd. Tickets are $45 in advance or $55 at the door. I just went to The Grand Opening of "European Delights" Market & Deli. Stepping Out Florida promoted the event and what a great turnout! There was free food (grilled meats on the BBQ), trays of hors d'oeuvres including red caviar on blinis, live music, prizes for spinning a wheel ,( I won a nice bottle of Prosecco), complimentary Champagne and all open to the public. Went " Stepping Out" today to see ,"Blue Whales-Return of the Giants" in 3D on the HUGE IMAX screen at The Museum of Discovery & Science in Ft. Lauderdale. The free afternoon included a tour of the museum, concession foods and the extraordinary movie. What a great day!!
