When talent meets inspiration, the results are extraordinary. Developing the exceptional instrumentalist’s performance ability is our primary goal.

Our intimate size enables us to maintain full-tuition scholarship support and extensive performance opportunities for all students. In addition to large and small ensembles, students participate in repertoire classes, junior and senior recitals, mock auditions, juries, master classes, weekly performance forums and an annual concerto competition. Our eminent faculty are dedicated to making Lynn one of the finest training programs for performers in the world.

Congratulations to Miriam Smith (BM ‘25) and her Dvorak Piano Quintet for winning the Donald Spieth Memorial Award at the Techne Music Festival! The ensemble will present concerts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in October.

What began as a dream over 20 years ago is now a cherished tradition. When trumpet professor Marc Reese joined Lynn University, he envisioned a competition to honor his mentor and legendary teacher, Roger Voisin.

This season, we proudly celebrate the 5th edition of the Roger Voisin Memorial Trumpet Competition—a biennial event that brings outstanding talent and lasting legacy together at Lynn University.

Congratulations to Lynn pianists, Hanting Peng (BM '28) and Ana-Maria Uzunova (BM '27) for winning 1st prize and honorable mention, respectively, at the FSMTA Gray Perry Young Collegiate Piano Award Competition. The Gray Perry Young Collegiate Piano Award competition is held annually in the spring and is open to freshmen and sophomore piano majors enrolled in degree programs in universities and colleges in the state of Florida.
