🎹From a 1740s Bach duo sonata to a piece for one piano and eight hands, Lisa Leonard's Instrumental Collaborative Piano students showcase flexibility and a wide range of knowledge in this exciting and informative studio recital.

🎵Join us in the Wold Performing Arts Center as we go on a journey through the development of the piano in chamber music from the organ to the harpsichord, to fortepiano, and piano.

Featuring artwork by Alex Duque, and additional guest artists from the Conservatory.

ROBERTA RUST CONNECTS WITH LYNN PIANO ALUMNI AT RPPF

Dr. Roberta Rust, head of the LYNN piano department, met up with three LYNN piano alumni at the 2024 Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival (RPPF) on the University of South Florida campus in Tampa last week. Chen Liang, Klyde Ledamo, and Janna Peña are serving on the staff of RPPF this summer and Rust retuned for her 12th consecutive summer serving on its faculty. RPPF has become one of the most prestigious summer piano festivals in the world.

Lynn pianist Yance Zheng was declared first prize winner of the Artist Series Concerts of Sarasota Competition for Pianists! Zheng receives a $2,000 cash award and will perform in Sarasota in November. He is a senior this year in the Bachelor of Music Piano Performance program in the studio of Roberta Rust.
