Samba Roots is a family event for the community to gather and enjoy the best of Brasil , Live samba classes lots of music with samba da vela , Samba de Roda and Capoeira . Samba da Vela (candle) is a way to remember how samba started with new composers and great songs for all to sing along. Samba de Roda : This is an old tradition in how the people would gather in a circle to express themselves

thru the rhythms of or drums and songs . Capoeira : Brazilian martial arts developed by the slaves in Brazil to free themselves from slavery, It is known for quick and complex moves, using mainly power, speed, and leverage for a wide variety of kicks. In capoeira we play the game as our bodies dance in this beautiful fight on the rhythms of the Berimbau, Atabaque and pandeiros . Schedule :
