We get asked a lot about rainy day scenarios. Here’s what we tell all of our brides and grooms:
✨We will always work with your wedding planner to have an inclement weather plan in place that all vendors are prepared to implement.
✨Unless there’s a torrential downpour or unsafe weather conditions, we do everything in our power to get you married at your number one ceremony location! Yes, that even includes our staff blowing water off of chairs with a leaf blower and quickly wiping them down just moments before your guests arrive.
✨Know what you’re willing to do. Are you willing to get a little wet? Are you willing to push your ceremony back by a few minutes to let rain pass? Having your own inclement weather “plan” in place can help ease stress the day of your wedding.

Happy first anniversary to Alexa and Blake! ❤️
What many of you may not know is that our very first wedding here at Dos Palomas Ranch was for Alexa (one of the Wheeler siblings) and her now husband. We jokingly tell clients that instead of getting massages and playing golf the week of the wedding, we were laying grass, turf and asphalt (literally). But it was all worth it!

Happy Friday! Last but not least, we’d like to introduce the third Wheeler sibling. Hunter is the brains (and the muscles) behind all the manly man things here at Dos Palomas Ranch. He has a degree in construction which worked in our favor during the venue’s building process, but he also has a culinary background and went to school at the Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, California. If you don’t find Hunter here at the venue, you’ll most likely find him at his restaurant…
✨Fun Fact #1: Hunter just opened Limestone Bistro in downtown Boerne! Make sure to stop by for breakfast, lunch or coffee Wednesday-Saturday 8am-2:30pm. P.S. My favorite menu item is the Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich! And, for all the couples and wedding planners out there, Limestone Bistro is available for private events in the evenings (think: rehearsal dinners), and the ambiance is perfect for it.
✨Fun Fact #2: Hunter received his construction degree from Texas A&M — Gig ‘Em, Ags!
✨Fun Fact #3: In the words of Hunter when I asked him for his fun facts, “I’m a fun guy.”
