*On this day*LONG POST! ✨Circa September 13, 2008✨ Before we had any idea or clue of K P or any clue about weddings at all! If I knew then what I know now. Yikes. So, your photographer is an investment. Spend the money on a good one AND ask all the questions. Ask questions like...hey...if you decide to sell your photography business and leave the country with dozens of brides still on the books, will you hand your weddings over to professionals or some one who just has a random camera with no training or care in the world about weddings? Yup. This is 1 of 2 photos we got of just the two of us. After waiting almost 2 years for photos, we got 💩. * In my own defense * In 2008, the resources couples have now did not exist. Google reviews, Instagram, Tiktok, Pinterest, (facebook just started and you needed a .edu to sign up), wedding venues really didn't exist. It was a hotel, country club, or the local hall. Sourcing wedding vendors back then was looking through wedding magazines (a magazine is paper that is bound together and has photos 😜). This photographer had a two page spread, it was shiny and pretty and had all the things any couple would want. They sold us hard, took the money and said LATER, moving out of the country. In fact, the day we showed up to take our engagement photos, a random guy showed up and broke the news to us less than a month before the wedding. Cool but true story.
*FUNNY* The company we hired, re-surfaced back to SA about 5-6 years ago. HE SHOWED UP TO K P and shot a wedding. He had no idea who we were obvi. He shot that wedding, then scheduled a time to visit with me 1 on 1 to sell his services and ask us to refer him to all our clients. LOL LOL LOL. It was at that time I was able to share our story with him. If you could have been a fly on the wall that day. Be careful, he's still here in the city and offers many services. Wanna know why we require you to get all your vendors approved first? 16 years today!

Are you about to start touring wedding venues? YAY! Touring wedding venues is SO fun! Before you schedule venue tours, here are our top 3 tips! ...1. Research the venue, do homework/recon! SOCIAL STALK THEM (insta, tik tok, facebook, pinterest), get a good idea of their space before you see it IRL. Find out their pricing, venue rules, vendor rules, guest capacity, research all the things. Don't waste your time on venues that don't offer what you want and or need. ... 2. Schedule the tour, confirm the tour, and be on time. Make all efforts to arrive at the scheduled time. Often, venues schedule tours back to back, if you are late, you risk not being able to see the entire space and get the time you deserve! ... 3. Be present. When you arrive physically (or virtually), be there mentally too. Find your happy place, dedicate that time to your tour with out being distracted by texts/phone calls, notifications...be present mentally, you are worth it!

Our Story

We (Jeremy and Kristin) have been married for 12 years! We have 2 children, a boy and a girl. We live close by KP on our “mini farm”. We didn’t know we wanted a farm, but it ended up that way! We have one goat, his name is Beans, a horse named Lady, 2 cows named Snowflake and Shelby, a show steer named Mr. Stort, 2 dogs; a pug named Sausage, and a purebred mut named Leah. Can’t forget about the ducks and chickens, and we raise our own bees for honey! We LOVE sports, I mean… we love them! We both coach our kids baseball, football, and softball teams! Between the 2 of us, during football season, we have 8 fantasy football teams. We love football season! Win lose, or tie, Cowboys til’ we die! We love anything outdoors and our favorite vacay spot is the beach, any beach!

We are passionate about our church, family, and work! We both graduated from Southwest Texas State (AKA Texas State) University in San Marcos. Go Bobcats! Kendall Point was a dream come true, and lots of answered prayers. We are a small family owned Christian business. We like to think of our brides as our KP family!
