Throw back to the first ever full service wedding I did in 2021. I’m so thankful for the beautiful bride Alyssa for believing in me, even though I had no portfolio to show and limited experience in weddings.

That was the beginning of my love for wedding work🥰. I’m so glad Posy Blue took me on this path.

Craspedia, aka Billy balls or sun balls, is still one of my favorite flowers! ☀️

They are not your typical flowers. No petals, no scent, but they are so cute and unique!

I didn’t have a good crop last year because they were too crowded by some other plants. It’s too bad that it’s not a flower I used often in weddings because of its bright color but I love them nonetheless.

Happy 2025!🤩🎉

I can’t believe this is Posy Blue’s 5th year in business! Blue, the flower truck, looks a little less “new” and shiny, and the business looks quite different than when I started it.

Our focuses this year are still weddings and events and we won’t be participating in any markets. I look forward to see what this year brings😘.

I harvested some flowers from the greenhouse. Swipe for a quick greenhouse tour after I cut the flowers.

I ran out of room in the garden over the summer so I planted some heat-loving flowers in the greenhouse, like zinnias, gomphrena and celosia. They are still doing great even though I only heat the greenhouse to 50°F max at night.

The empty spot in there has ranunculus. I’ll slowly remove the blooming plants to make room for more ranunculus.

And yes, the greenhouse is nice and warm, which is something I really love when it’s cold and windy outside.

This was the last wedding I did for 2024. I maybe biased but fall weddings have the best vibrant flowers available. Dahlias, Lisianthus, zinnias, amaranthus, and more.

Hi there! Roni (pronounced Ron-ee) here – the face behind these squares. It’s been a while since I introduced myself, so here we go.

I started Posy Blue back in 2020, when many of us were diving into new hobbies. I was home with a newborn and a four-year-old at the time, and I started growing flowers in a little 2x4’ raised bed just so we could spend more time outside. Fast-forward to today, and I’ve expanded my cut flower garden and have been designing florals for weddings and events along with Blue, my 1952 Chevy pickup. That’s where Posy Blue is now.

Winter is the perfect time to book for next year’s weddings and events, so please reach out if I can help with any of your special occasions. To my amazing clients- I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you for being here and for your continued support!

P.S.- I’ve added “Airbnb host” to my title recently, and it’s been going well! If you’re ever planning a trip to White Sands National Park, I have a cozy spot in New Mexico where you could stay😉.

Last wedding of 2024 is an a la carte wedding in a lovely fall color theme🍁.

Our a la carte design is perfect for any budget conscious couples who don’t mind picking up the floral pieces from our home studio and set them up themselves. We do not offer installation with this option but we can design everything else as in a full service design.

Dahlias love the cooler temperature of fall. There isn’t a frost in the forecast yet and I’m not complaining. I just need them to survive for one more week for a wedding this week.

I’m gonna sound like a broken record if I tell you how much I love lisianthus again. Each stem of Lisianthus has more than one bloom, usually around 3-5 but sometimes up to 13 in this video, that’s the most I have seen! This variety is called First Love.

My daughter and I made a fun door hanger for ourselves with the help of and my trusted hot glue gun. The dried flowers turned out really well and exactly how I imagined them. Swipe to see the before.
