Our current 14-year-old school van has over 130,000 miles and is no longer reliable or safe for our students. We are asking our community to help us replace our van and get back on the road! In total, we are hoping to raise $20,000 towards the cost.

LK Alumni went on a CSI Tour hosted by the culinary department – Thank you College of Southern Idaho for this great opportunity! CSI offers culinary, pastry/baking, and hospitality courses. Executive Chef Mike Johnson provided our students with a recipe and a chance to make lunch. The lentil soup was amazing😊

Thank you Boise Regional Realtors Outreach Committee for fulfilling our dream of a flag! 🇺🇸 Your diligent work to raise funds to make this happen is much appreciated! ❤ The flag is in honor of Life’s Kitchen long-time board member, Jon Adamson, who passed away in February 2022 at the age of 67. He served on our board for almost 15 years, always providing a unique perspective. Jon was also active in real estate. His obituary stated he had a “special love for Life’s Kitchen.”

Also, a big shout-out to Lucas O'Neill, Julie Schott and Jamie Matzdorff for all of your efforts! 🫶

Yesterday, our trainees went on a Boise Bicycle Project field trip! We toured the facility, learned the process of receiving donated bikes and parts, and helped finish up bikes to give away. Thank you, instructors Ben and Veda, for a fun and educational class!
