JOB DESCRIPTION
Event Design and Rentals company seeks event crew to manage the physical aspects of event production. With over 100 events a year, this on-call position is a great fit for someone looking for supplemental work. Schedule and hours are based on the needs of each event. This is a physically demanding position. Our busiest times are often APRIL – OCTOBER. Events frequently occur on nights, weekends, and holidays.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must possess strength, stamina, and mobility to perform physically demanding work.
• Frequent standing/ twisting/ bending/ moving up to 8 hours +
• Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 100 pounds, with assistance, as necessary.
• Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps while carrying objects.
• Frequent, continual, intermittent flexing or rotations of wrist(s), and spine.
• Frequent reaching, turning while performing precision work.
• Consistent clarity of vision at near and far distances.
• Consistent talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of spoken word.
• Willingness and ability to safely drive company vehicles, including 18’ box truck day and night.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Loading and unloading décor from warehouse to event site; appropriately packing items to avoid damage and breakage.
• Driving company vehicles safely, including 18’ box truck.
• Item setup and tear down onsite at events.
• Repair/modify damaged items or problem-solve implementation of items onsite.
• Restock décor inventory in warehouse, using appropriate sorting and packing.
• Occasional assistance in warehouse to complete projects, count, or photograph inventory.
REQUIREMENTS
• At least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma/GED or any working knowledge that gives the skills necessary to complete the position.
• Holds a valid Idaho Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Proficient knowledge of general computer programs, with capability of learning in-house programs (MS Office, Dropbox, Rental Inventory System, etc.).
• Ability to operate power tools; bonus if skilled in carpentry, welding, electrical, painting, sewing, hand lettering, etc. (please include any of these skills you possess, as well as other applicable skills we should know about).

OTHER
PAY: Pay commensurate with experience.
SCHEDULE: Hours vary; this position requires long hours on weekends, evenings, holidays, and may include overnight travel for destination events within Idaho.
TRANSPORTATION: Reliable transportation to ensure positive attendance.
