We have some great events coming up this month at Story Book Farm.

Oct. 12, Sound Baths:
Starting with Emily Clark’s Sound Bath experiences. The first is for children with breath, sound bowls and stories in the garden. Then, later in the day, there will be one for adults. Oct. 20, Art & Writing:
Sharon Hanson and I are going to do another Art and Writing Experience. If you already attend this, this one will be different. We will be making the leaf prints you see below and then adding some writing .....experiencing fall, transition, and the beauty of letting go as trees do with their leaves. It will be magical. Oct. 26, Flower Essence:
Dr. Taylor Pagano will be doing an intro to Flower Essence and then, next summer, we hope that she will do a whole series of these in the garden. She will present a different flower essence each month. I am already signed up for this and I can’t wait.

These Praying Mantis are so camouflage. I have been seeing them on lavender in the warm, fall sunshine. Keep your eyes out for them and let me know if you see one and what plant it’s on.

Fence Picket Farm is hosting an educational and entertaining fundraiser for the Boise Farmers Market… It’s a Pollinator Party!! 🐝🍯
