1: Tomato and eggplant caprese with goat cheese stuffed squash blossom

2: Seared king salmon on a bed of farroto with sweet corn, green bean, zucchini, turnip, and arugula with a pesto cream

3: Caramelized pear tartlet with creme anglaise

Almost all produce came from Wissel Farms Wissel Veggie Club and could not have been better!

Hey! An idea just came to me, so I figured I would share and see what you guys think—

I want to start hosting small dinner parties for groups of 10 or smaller once a week, depending on what comes in my FSA box. I will come up with a prix fixe menu, and will post a couple days before to take spots. I think I will ask for a certain amount per person based on food cost. (Nothing crazy, maybe $20-$30 per head). Come over, relax, laugh, and eat something local and wholesome! I will also take requests/ideas if there is something you want to try or have a hankerin’ for. Based on availability!

Sounds fun to me, let me know if you would like to participate!

I am so grateful and blown away by the positive response I have received from all of you! I guess I didn’t realize how effective social media could be. I want to say thank you to each of you that have liked, shared, and followed this profile out of support for me and my journey! ❤️

I want to clarify that I have A LOT of work to do still before I will be accepting orders! This is only the beginning, and will keep you all posted on my progress. I will be developing base menus, formulating price points, taking new photos of my dishes (most photos used have been throughout the last 6-8 years, time to update!), and much much more. I am working on creating a new, more efficient/informative website, a nice logo, business cards and more.

I appreciate your understanding, and anticipation! Please stay tuned and continue to share your support!

Hi guys! I don’t normally do things like this, but I am really trying something new! I really enjoy cooking, and have a strong passion for food, I just want out of the restaurant industry/lifestyle. I have worked my ass off for the last several years trying to be the best cook I could be, and the best chef I could be, but always for someone else. It is time for me to prove to myself that my hard work will pay off, for me. I want to share my love and passion with as many people as I can through a food experience.

I am not great at technology, so I don’t have my website dialed in just yet. And this page is a rough draft attempt at just getting my name out there. Please be patient, and please be kind! But also tell your friends and family that I would love to cook for them on any occasion! I will do meal prep for singles/small families, cater any event, bring prepared dinner over ready to just reheat, or cook for friends and family just for fun so you don’t have to!

ALSO- my sister and her family have started a Yak ranch! Local born and raised Yaks that are available for wholesale (steaks, burger, etc) and will be featured on many of my menus as availability allows. Mahogany Mountain Yak Ranch! Website will be coming soon! 😉 Tessa Seldin
