Please call/text Heidi 860-402-2744 to discuss how we can offer you a lovingly arranged custom bouquet My name is Heidi Luck. I am a 3rd generation farmer. In 1932 my grandparents Fred & Dorothy Luck purchased our beautiful farm located in Bolton, CT. The land had been previously used to farm raspberries, apples and peaches. Piece by piece they built their post and beam style barn and then their f

arm house, which we live in today. From the 30’s to the early 70’s my grandparents and parents raised turkeys, capons, cattle and chickens. My grandfather sold Turkey’s as “Luck and Sons Turkeys” and my parents raised and sold capons. They also sold eggs to many local customers and stores, and bartered with the local lumber yard…eggs for lumber! We have always hayed our land for our own use and for sale. For years we have partnered with a local farm that is part of the “Farmers Cow” Co-op in Eastern CT. Our family has always used our land, but we moved away from traditional farming and held other jobs. I did the flowers and decor for my wedding in 2016 and my daughter’s wedding in 2019 and I grew most of the Dahlias for her wedding. Something happened to me during that growing season. I realized I had found my passion and a way to really utilize our farm. I have been a longtime gardener and my mother and I have a huge perennial garden that has a plethora of wonderful flowers and foliage. My friend Lisa, who has a small flower farm in Massachusetts, also inspired me to grow flowers. When I asked her to grow some dahlias for my daughter’s wedding she encouraged me to grow some of them myself. Those dahlias and that growing season changed me. Lisa showed me that I could do what I love and share that passion with others. As my husband, Alan coined, “It was time to “grab the flower by the stem” and go for it! Luck of Bolton Farm, LLC was established in October 2019! My father Fred Luck is a retired sign painter & pinstriper. He always signed his work “More Good by Luck of Bolton”, hence the name. A tribute to my family name. Roadside Self-Serve Stand-344 West Street, Bolton, CT 06043

Thank you for another wonderful season!!!
☀️🌡️🌧️💧We had a stellar spring & summer. It was perfect all the way up to July when we received buckets & buckets of rain. Then a 180 and hardly any rain and several heat waves. We had patchy frost yesterday morning and a hard frost is right around the corner.
🌷My tulip, ranunculus & spring crops were some of the best I’ve ever grown and some of the worst! I’m always learning:)
🌻Summer blooms were great as they all survived the rains & thrived. Lisianthus & eucalyptus were off the hook this year! I will pick the last of it today for a few special end of season orders. I even got a 2nd flush on a few varieties.
Dahlias were kinda just average this year. I think the extended extreme heat in August stunted their growth thus slowed them down and they were @2 weeks late. Overall I had a great season!

🙏Thank you to my wonderful customers that trusted me to provide flowers for your weddings & events. I don’t take that responsibility lightly. It is so important to me that the flowers are perfect for your special day. I’ll be doing a wedding & event review this winter!
💐Thank you to my Flower Share Customers! Year after year you come back to support me. Thank you.
A Big Thank you to my wholesale customers🙏🙏🙏
❤️Thank you to ALL my customers from a farm stand bouquet, to dahlia tubers, wreath workshops, birch reindeer, a special order arrangement or your special event…thank you for choosing & supporting me & the farm!
