Sunset Cliffs in San Diego!

Last winter I skipped out on Boston winter for a week and headed to a business retreat in San Diego led by my friend Mandy Ford (she’s the goat of SEO, Google Ads & Pinterest!).

While I was there, I had the chance to do a shoot with Andie (obviously YES!)

I loved the pictures and realized I didn’t share a single one with you! So today I took a creative break to have a little fun with these beauties. I forgot that I played with a super slow shutter speed for the last one - the water is so silky!

Let’s shop for a sweater together, so I can explain what I mean…

🧥 Store A has stunning cream sweaters folded perfectly.

Neutral walls. Quiet jazz music. The sales associate smiles politely but doesn’t say much.

You pick up a sweater. It’s $495.

There was a version of me who thought working harder was the only way...

That climbing the corporate ladder meant I was doing it right. And after I left my marketing career, it continued with 12 hours a day in front of my computer, sneaking away in between family moments to check email or squeeze in some editing.

One of the hardest things to have as a self-employed babe is boundaries. We ditch the 9-to-5 for a 24/7 kinda gig...(drop me a 👋 if this sounds familiar!)
