What if you could treat ALL of your experiences (even the struggle and the pain) as part of your beautiful journey?
Let that thought sink in for a minute…
When you embrace every part of your journey—the highs, lows, and everything in between—it all becomes…interesting. Because it’s simply a chapter of your story.
For a good part of this year, I was hard on myself.
For not doing things sooner
For not being bold enough
For feeling stuck
Instead of celebrating the launch of 2 coaching programs and a course, I was worried I hadn’t done it sooner (I’ve since recovered from this, thank God). I was hard on myself for how hard it felt. There’s so much that goes into it on the backend to make it all happen, and it was ALL new.
But guess what? The tough times shaped my path.
I shared my journey with a new friend at a conference last weekend - and realized that the hard stuff I experienced helped me get exactly where I needed to be. There were reasons I had to go through it the hard way.
I wanted to share this story because I’ve heard a lot of creatives say they’ve had a down year. If you can detach from the emotions - sit with it and be interested - it's just becomes a part of YOUR beautiful journey.
I’ve experienced a lot of personal growth this year, and accomplished some BIG goals that I can look back on and feel proud of. And I look at the journey fondly, because salt makes sweet taste better. 2023 was my sea salt caramel year.
Maybe it’s your sea salt year, too. But damn, aren’t sea salt caramels such a treat??
