The Hideaway Farm Storytellers Museum & Hideaway Farm are a historical attraction for anyone interested in Johnny Cash or Country Music.

nterested in knowing more about the man behind the country music icon, as well as the region’s rich history. Visitors will first tour the Storytellers Museum property where we house the famous One Piece At A Time Cadillac followed by 2 min drive to visit the Hideaway Farm - that Johnny Cash called the center of his universe for over 30 years, and will learn so much more about the man behind the legend. Visitors will be able to tour the Farm itself, seeing things such as the Farmhouse, Johnny’s own vineyard, the barn, and the American Garage.

Beginning in January and continuing through February, tours at the Hideaway Farm and Storytellers Museum will be by appointment only. We will be happy to schedule tours, but due to the winter weather, we will not have general admission hours during January and February.

We will retrun to our general admission hours in March of 2025.

Well, we had an extra special guest visit at the Hideaway Farm this week!

Laura Ingalls Gunn is a descendant of Laura Ingalls Wilder - and she recreates many of the outfits from the show we all loved!!❤️

This week she brought to us replicas of the clothes worn by Johnny and June!

They are now on display at the farmhouse in Bon Aqua, Tennessee and we’d love for you to come and see!

Located a short drive west of Nashville on I-40, this was the place Johnny Cash used to escape from public life. Now the Storytellers Hideaway Farm and Museum in Bon Aqua, TN is a must-stop for anyone interested in knowing more about the man behind the country music icon, as well as the region’s rich history. Johnny Cash owned the farm for 33 years, and called it the center of his universe. Visitors will be able to visit the Farmhouse and see intimate family photographs and a variety of displayed artifacts from the various Cash homes, including items from the home in Hendersonville, the farm, and the home in Jamaica. We have an extensive collection of Johnny memorabilia including the famous One-Piece-At-A-Time car, created from Johnny’s own song of the same name. From the stories and displays, visitors get a glimpse into the man behind the legend. Each visit also includes a live show on the barn stage. Visitors are also welcome to savor the peaceful and 107 acre property. We recommend allowing at least two hours for the visit. Visits are self-guided and untimed.
