It was an absolute honor to provide dinner for CASA of Hickman County. How can you not support an organization that focuses on children in foster care. Dinner was great, however the initiative of this organization is so much greater. If you’re not familiar with CASA, I hope you learn about it.

My husband came home today after visiting his parents😊 It was necessary to provide him with my most favorite comfort food. Beef chuck roast with garlic smashed potatoes and grilled green beans.

I’m not sure I’ve made this since we closed the cafe. It was by far a best seller.

My first gnocchi making experience was a success😊 I had a few struggles with the consistency, so I thought for sure it was going to tough. Nope! So tender...I added spinach and arugula to the dough, served with a cream sauce and grilled salmon.

I know it’s a win when the kids give me compliments 😊
