It’s with great sadness but SO MUCH appreciation that I’m announcing that my Mother’s Day collaboration with MAXDAHLIA is my final event for Daphne & June LLC as a business. After so many months of debating, I have decided that it is best to close. I started this floral business in the midst of the pandemic at the end of 2020. In just under 4 years I have learned so much about flowers and enjoyed the creative challenge of it all! My hope was to do something that brought joy during an extremely dark time for myself and my community. It has been such an amazing privilege to create floral arrangements for my neighbors in Tehaleh. I appreciate every person who has ever bought flowers from me, be it a holiday arrangement, custom order, a single flower at my booth during one of the many markets I participated in and to those who hired me as their florist for their weddings. My heart is truly filled with so much gratitude. Thank you for believing in me and valuing my work. Owning a small business is extremely hard and often means unseen long hours, no pay, learning as you go and so many tears both happy and sad. But I do not regret going on this adventure and taking this leap. I am proud to say I did it, it was successful. Owning my own business was never something I dreamed of doing and was a spontaneous leap of faith! So thank you again for all the love and support. And such a Huge… HUGE shout out to my best friend/neighbor Theresa who stepped up as my floral assistant SO MANY TIMES and my husband Aaron for all your support and hard work. 💐 Lots of Love, Holly (Owner of Daphne & June) *Image of my final Daphne & June floral arrangement.
