I got to spend the day with Jasmine shopping for her wedding gown. She's one of "my girls" and it was a little sad not having the store there for her to shop for that special gown. She did find the perfect one and it was fun being on the other side of the shopping experience.

WE ARE OFFICIALLY CLOSED

Never did I expect the turnout that we had for our 2-day reopening. I was shocked when I realized the crowds on King Street were for me, all alone, thinking just a few would show. But all my girls soon came to my rescue. 😘After all, I couldn't imagine a Bride left who hadn't already claim her gown in our 6 months long sale. We were packed both days with kind customers, no pushing or pulling. Patiently waiting on lines for dressing rooms holding their treasures. Thank you all!

I feel as though we made many dreams come alive for those who had lost hope of being able to afford their dream gown. And it was the perfect fairytale ending to this special little shop.

Wednesday were started our donations. We are packing all the beauties that didn't find their brides in our shop to Bride's Against Breast Cancer today. We are sure that those gowns will find their brides with them! Angel Babies will be getting our remaining bridal inventory. All of the remaining formals has been claimed for our Special Needs Community.

WE ARE OFFICIALLY CLOSED

It seems that I confused some of our customers with our closing. By popular demand we will open our doors one more time to the public. Monday and Tuesday all wedding gowns that are left will be $100 and all bridesmaids and formals will be $30.

PERMENTLY CLOSED
I wanted to take a moment and thank the High Country for the support and loyalty that you have shown us. I couldn't have imagined and more gratifying career and it was our sweet customers who made this such a happy place. I've been amazed at the number of our customers who have dropped in to tell us goodbye, still just a bit weepy. I have loved being the caretaker of this wonderful shop and will miss you all!

We will begin packing and boxing up the remaining inventory after this week. Before I ship these gorgeous gowns off to national charities, I wanted to give our local High Country charities first dibs.

If your organization could benefit from formals or wedding gowns, please leave us a comment.
If it is a personal request, please message me personally and they will also be considered.

If we all have a "super power" mine is choosing the best employees for the last 30 years! From the first to the last, they are all strong, independent, sucessful and loving women.

I was a red faced, swollen eyed mess but our homecoming was nothing short of magical! We did so miss the ones who couldn't make it, but we felt your spirits!!

I gave them the choice of locations and everyone of them chose to do the whole weekend in the shop. We got Barberito's to cater dinner for us. Which, James will certainly be getting 5☆ review for a fabulous spread. We even had a sleepover in the store. We pushed back racks of gowns and blew up air mattress!

All of "my girls" and their children loving looked at all their favorite gowns and modeled for us. We all laughed and cried and recalled our favorite memories. It was truly a magical weekend with priceless friendships.

I was blessed with two amazing sons but these ladies are and will always being my daughters. Not only are they loved by me, my customers loved and trusted them for their most important days. My sucess is intermingled with their gracious souls and I will forever be grateful.

What a perfect way to say "Goodnight" to this special magical place of Did Someone Say Party?

November will be our final month before we are no more...
We will be closed on Sunday, Monday and Tues. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday we will be open our regular hours. Trying to slide into this retirement thing slowly!
