We don’t only do events related to weddings! We helped with a celebration of life event for a family that lost a loved one. They all live different states and many states away making it difficult to know where to begin with planning this. Along with the sensitivity of the type of event, we were here to take any stress off their shoulders.
How we helped with the day:
• Had weekly catch up meetings (5 weeks out- the start of when they booked us)
•was the point of contact for all vendors
•locked in a catering order from (who were so easy to work with and were kind enough to let us make a large order on such short notice)
•helped with a reservation at so they could decompress after together
•Came up with a back up rain plan (thank you venture for your willingness to consider a last minute large event reservation with only a couple days notice)
• Put together a rental order for tables and chairs with a tent
• Had our in house DJ provide a projector and screen for a slideshow with photos of Susan to be showing through our, and a speaker for music in the background, and a microphone for them to share kind words and memories of Susan together.
• Created a grocery list for beverages, ice, cups, utensils, etc.
• Provided 3 large coolers so they didn’t have to purchase any since they are not local anymore)
•Collected all of these items the morning of
•Set up everything listed
• Had emergency kit for any and all things you could think of
•Let them celebrate while making sure the food and drinks were replenished as the day went on
• Cleaned up and packed up all items and made sure they didn’t have to do any of that (even they kept insisting on helping bc they are such amazing humans)
