Before we know it, our 2025 season is quickly coming to an end. But why wait until it gets warmer out to elope? We are open for those winter elopement packages for dates starting on January 25th - March 22nd, 2026 any day of the week.

Even though I 100% tripped on Livia’s dress trying to avoid her from doing that 😅. This is one of my favorite moments when I get to help the bride down the aisle with her veil and dress.
At least we got some laughs out of that AND from the cows making an appearance during their ceremony.

A year ago we were all locked in ready to go for Shelley & Stefan’s wedding week after many, many months of planning. Then the unthinkable happened. Hurricane Helene came through Western North Carolina and destroyed so many homes, lives, communities, and….their original wedding venue. It had been completely swept away in the storm.

While I was stuck at my home that had minor flooding and with no way to leave or to get in touch with them. Since the bridge to my neighborhood, the only way in or out, was completely destroyed and I had no power or cell reception. These two had to scramble to basically replan their entire day without their planner in such a short notice. Along with experiencing such a devastation.

Finally 6 days later, and only 2 days away from their wedding, I was able to make it out and safely make it to a friend’s home and finally over 150 text messages came through. Which a few of them were from Shelley only wanting to make sure I was safe and okay. She had so much empathy and consideration and waited to hear from me with the confirmation that I was okay first to then to tell me what was going on. First I was so worried we were not going to be able to figure it out in time. But, what do you know… they had already managed to figure it all out with a new venue booked and all. And we successfully got them married on their original wedding date.

I cannot be more thankful for her and how she handled everything and genuinely cared for my well being. All while having the stress of having to replan EVERYTHING. So, Shelley and Stefan, THANK YOU! I will never forget how thoughtful and sweet you both are. Happy (early) first wedding anniversary 💛 hoping for never ending love and happiness in your lives together.

HUGE shout out to my assistants from our event this past Saturday (not pictured ). These girls took on a huge event with many, many moving parts. And still made it possible for me to join as a guest towards the end of the night since it was a dear friend’s wedding.

Wedding planners are not just there to make it look pretty. It is a very physically exhausting job along with making sure it looks pretty. They worked hard for 12 hours straight and I am forever thankful for them all.

A funny fact about Delia and Faith:
I worked at Canyon’s for a few years, gosh about 10 years ago, and that place still continues to bring me full circle moments.

I first met Delia when she like 9 or 10 years old because her dad was my manager there. (Who is the owner of with his lovely wife 💃🏼) and now she is an assistant I never want to let go because she is such a badass at this job and I love having her on the team.

Faith’s brother, , used to be my coworker there, had reached out to me and recommended her to join our team. And I am so happy he did! Faith is a natural at his job and I couldn’t be more grateful to officially add her to our team. This wedding was her first “shift” with us and you not believe it was her first.
