Dear followers, we ask you all to keep a look out for one of our Local Creatives who has gone missing. Mr. Hagar here is the carpenter who has been working on the stage set of our upcoming theatre production but was declared missing on January 4th.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should please call the sheriff’s office at 318-263-2215.

The sheriff’s office in Bienville Parish is looking for a missing elderly man.

No More Tears! We know you miss us, but the BAC Staff returns to the office tomorrow, January 7th! That means are East Bank and Virginia Cook Galleries will be open and available for the public to come and experience at their usual times, 11:00 M - 5:00 PM!

We're still out on Holiday Break, but we'll be back in the office next week on Jan 7th! In the meantime, here are a few things to look forward to;

Whitney's and LiSandra's gallery shows, "Dreamspace"' and "We Paint The Sky!" will both be available for viewing in the East Bank and Virginia Cook Galleries respectively! Both will be coming down after the 28th.

On January 11th, make your way to Hurricane Alley LIVE for the East Bank Mafia's Jambalaya Cookoff! Public Tasting opens at 11:00 AM and it's $5 Admission!

From January 24th-26th, we're excited to kick off 2025 with an East Bank Theatre produced showing of "Drinking Habits" in partnership with The Company Repertory Theatre! This promises to be a hilariously good time and we recommend getting your tickets before they're gone, as we're only performing three shows over one weekend!

Also, the New Year is the perfect opportunity to pick up new hobbies! Take a chance to check out some of the clubs that meet monthly in our Art Annex building. The clubs we wanted to feature include the Shreveport Photographic Society, The Shreveport Bonsai Society, and The North Louisiana Woodcarvers, Inc!

Two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent's doors open, but Paul and Sally, reporters and former fiancées, are hot on their trail. They go undercover as a nun and priest, but their presence, combined with the addition of a new nun, spurs paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent from Rome to shut them down!

In conjunction with The Company Repertory Theatre, the Bossier Arts Council kicks off 2025 with a comedic journey audiences will not forget! Directed by Andra Ngyuen, this production features a talented cast comprised of some of Shreveport-Bossier's most talented performing artists!

This upcoming Monday is our final Landrum Arts La Talent Agency A-Part Workshop of the year and it promises to be a big one! Don't miss this opportunity yo come meet and learn from a Top Talent here in Louisiana, Sam Medina!

You may recognize Sam from certain Blockbuster Films such as Olympus Has Fallen, Venom or Alita Battle Angel. He has been in the industry for more than 18 years and was born in Ho Chi Minh City from a Vietnamese mother and a Honduran/Polynesian father. For a long time, Sam was in the music industry, producing Rap & RnB music, but after hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, his charisma and ambiguous look led him into the film industry. An Ambassador of Diversity, Sam empowers his actors with innovation and resourcefulness, both showing and achieving the unexpected in a motion picture.
Sam is the Co-Founder of the production company, Overlook Entertainment.

Sam has graciously agreed to share his wisdom and insight as the December Special Guest for our A-Part (Audience Participation) Acting Workshop series organized by Landrum Arts and hosted in our East Bank Theatre for FREE! So we encourage you not to pass on this incredible opportunity to learn from an industry professional!
