JOE MAYNARD, BOOKSELLER

Co-hosts Ed Markiewicz and Lee Linn join bookseller and Books in Boston promoter Richard Mori, The Road Warrior, to welcome to the show New York bookseller Joe Maynard, who is also a songwriter, hiker and art and music lover. He'll be among the exhibitors at the Books In Boston Shadow Show on November 9.

Joe shares tales of his experiences in the book trade, including the time he had to clean out a deceased man’s apartment and the discoveries that led him to learning about an Oregon internment camp for conscientious objectors during World War 2. That led into his early explorations of the Beat movement in the 1950s in San Francisco
