This has been a busy week & it's only Monday! I am tickled when my inbox is filled with so much love and hope for 2021 and 2022 weddings. Whether I'm building out design plans or sending off proposals, I just love speaking with these couples and they're endless possibilities.

One question that I often get especially during covid season is 'can we meet?' and of course the answer will always be "yes" but we need to be mindful that we are still in a pandemic. So whether our primary focus here will be to connect on Zoom or a socially distant coffee run at your local Starbucks I am all for curating an intimate wedding planning experience.
A+G was excepting to have their coastal wedding in Newport and when covid hit, plans changed, they pivoted and pivoted again. Then they decided to pack up and move across the country, since that's where their families live, all in a Pandemic! Now, I've had my fair share of cross country brides. So lucky enough their wedding planning experience wasn't halted, it was only virtual. Needless to say, their West Coast wedding couldn't have been more perfect.

I'm loving how these design plans are coming together! I love being able to connect with my couples, and getting to know you is all apart of the process. ✨

Our design process begins after selecting your key vendors (venue, florist, catering, band, photographer). Once your dream team is established we take this time to perfectly curated your wedding day design. This process can take just about 2 weeks! We make sure your plan truly embodies the story you want to tell on your day, down to the finest details, our plans can be up to 50+ pages!

Think of this as the framework of your wedding planning and wedding day, from the es**rt cards to welcome bags that greet your guest when they arrive at the wedding weekend. Creating an ambience that's welcoming, warm, and inviting. We will continue to refine these plans until they are absolutely perfect and share them with your dream team to execute your day.

We survived the first two weeks of 2021! I honestly can't figure out if we've left 2020 not. Over these first two weeks, I've noticed an increase in inquires from brides in distress. And for good reason, most of you have already changed your date three times. And now the anticipation of how are you going to plan your dream wedding in these next few months. It's an extremely difficult situation to navigate when you consider yourself a perfectionist, I get it!

The never-ending curveballs of 2020, when will the madness go back to normal! This is not how you wanted to start the new year and this is not how you envisioned your loved ones to remember your legacy. You should be enjoying those bottomless mimosas on Saturdays, not revising your guest list for the 14th time.

I want you to know that in the world of uncertainty, I am here to bring your vision to life. In a world where pivoting has become a norm, pivoting is my expertise. I want to make sure that you and your guest have a wow-experience, that even the finest details don't go unnoticed. Happy Sunday & Happy November! can you believe the week started with a 4 inches of snow and ended with 70 degree weather..thats New England for you!!

This past few weeks have been filled with wedding plans & onboarding my 2021 & 2022 couples, site visits, editorials, dress fittings, and me trying to refrain from putting up my Christmas decor for another week!

So many projects have been worked on the past few months and I think I should probably start sharing those before the years ends, don't you think? 🙃

Hey There! it's me & my frizzy hair! 🤣👋🏽

I feel like I'm always saying this but these past few weeks have been hectic! In a good way 😊️ So many amazing things are happening and I'm feeling so thankful and blessed. I've noticed some new faces and thought few facts about me would be a great way to start off the week!

1. I genuinely don't believe I would be where I am today if it wasn't for my faith. ✨

2. I have gluten sensitivity & I'm lactose intolerant, but it's okay I've discovered gluten free pasta. 🍝

3. I'm a full time accountant who has a intense passion planning weddings, celebrations, and marriage proposals!

4. I started watching Christmas movies in July 🎄

5. I feel my job in this industry is not just about planning these beautiful events but also teaching with my clients the importance of financial literacy and how this applies to creating their dream event.

PSA! For all my newly engaged & those planning their re-scheduled wedding, this one is for you. ✨

I've had back to back inquiries for the same wedding dates, Summer 2021. Now, this isn't unusual & everyone plans at different rates, no biggie. For instance, I'm already booking some awesome couples for 2022. Just for some reason, there have ONLY been inquiries for the SAME wedding dates, it is like I'm in the twilight zone. 😱

If you are planning your wedding for June/July 2021, please please please DO 👏🏽NOT 👏🏽WAIT 👏🏽 to hire your vendors! Give yourself an ample amount of time to hire your dream team, especially if you are getting married peak season.

It's like a battle of fittest over here! 😩

Private Residence weddings are quickly becoming my jam.

These past few weeks have been filled with inquires for micro-weddings on private residences. I LOVE this. It's showing me how open and willing couples are to create something refreshing, not seen on Pinterest, and unique to them at home. It's refreshing to know that so many couples are having a greater appreciation for the beauty that has been around them all long. Options that they may have never considered if it wasn't for the pandemic.

Here are some benefits I share with my couples of considering at-home weddings:

🔔Your Rules, Your Way. While I love spending the day at my favorite venues, having your wedding at home is a great way to have the vendors you want, your way. If you wanted to have a specific catering company and then provide an after-party service, you can do that.

🔔Time. Especially with micro-weddings, your celebration can be as long or as short as you would like.

🔔No Pressure. When having a wedding at home there should never be a sense of pressure on who is invited. In our current climate, most should be completely understanding why you chose to have an intimate gathering.
