Marc and I had a wide range of locations we were considering to have our wedding. Like so many of the couples I work with, we were torn between a more intimate wedding abroad and a destination US wedding. We chose the latter and got married in Connecticut. It was perfect for us. ❤️

That was my personal experience. Others may say choosing the venue was easiest, and choosing the other details was daunting. Everyone’s experience is unique just like everyone’s wedding is unique.

The beauty of photography is that no matter where your wedding is, we will capture and curate your images in a way that will elevate it to its maximum potential. I like to think we can make every wedding look like a million dollar wedding. ✨

If you’re in the wedding industry you know there is so much going around right now about how to market to gen z. I totally get that there are generational differences, but I also don’t believe we should put people in boxes. Here’s the thing, I’m a millennial who married a gen x. I personally am not in full alignment with the so called millenials. My brand and my style are not geared towards a certain generation. I simply want to work with people that appreciate the art and vibe that I’m putting out into the world. My style has always had a focus blending classic portraiture and with real raw moments. I want to deliver emotive images, that are true to life and colorful. On the contrary I love black and white photos because they truly never go out of style. I dabble with trendy photos, but ultimately I want to deliver a gallery to you that stands the test of time. ✨

I’m definitely drawn to neoclassical architecture, which resonates with my photography philosophy-one that values classical beauty, simplicity, and symmetry. Time and time again I’ve said it, but the person that has been such a big part of the success of my business over the years is my good friend Liz (sometimes called little Liz or Liz #2) Our photography paths first crossed back in 2015 when we were photographing newborns in local hospitals. Soon after when I got into photographing weddings, she was the first person I called to assist me. Ever since then she’s been a vital part of just about every wedding I’ve ever photographed. I know I’m in a unique situation where I primarily shot with the same person for each wedding and that is something special for all of my couples.

While growing my family over the last 5 years I’ve had to lean on her more than ever. Because she’s so talented and charismatic it was a natural progression to have her start associate shooting weddings. It’s not something I ever planned for, but it just happened and I can say it’s been such a great way to serve more wonderful couples. She always exceeds my expectations and I’m so thankful for her. She doesn’t have the best luck with traveling, so we are always prepared for some kind of drama in regards to that. No matter what though we are always laughing about it.

I think one of the greatest things I can give you after your wedding are photos documenting your guests reactions. These are the moments you don’t necessarily get to see during the busy events of the day. Your spouse wiping away a tear, the joy on your grandmother’s face, your bridal party having a good laugh. There are so many components of the day that I want to capture for you, and these instances are a big part of that. ✨

Cape Cod is magical, especially in the fall when the crowds have cleared. ✨

Lauren and Paul traveled from the Midwest for a little getaway on the East Coast and squeezed in the sweetest engagement session. The thing I love about photography is that there is always something new to learn. To make it in this industry you can’t sit back and think you’re good enough. You must always be improving your craft, amplifying your client experience and becoming a better business owner. For me this is why I’ll never get tired of it.
