MGH Police, Security and Outside Services Department will be hosting a "Stuff A Cruiser" event on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

We will have a cruiser on the main entrance ramp in Boston from 6:00am until 12:00pm collecting new, unwrapped toys for youth, ages 0-18.

Any donations collected will benefit children and families within Mass General for Children and local Mass General Brigham health centers and community organizations this holiday season.

If you are interested in making a donation before or after the date of the event, please feel free to stop by any security or information desk at your local MGH site to get more information!

Our Story

We are a unique Gift Shop located within Massachusetts General Hospital and operated by The LVC. Every single purchase made at The MGH General Store and Flower Shop goes directly into funds used by the LVC to give back to the hospital. We've been in business since 1942, and have had our online store since 2000. We have several stores within the MGH organization: The General Store, Outfitters,General Hair Care, The General Store at Yawkey, Images Oncology Boutique, The General Store at Spaulding Rehabilitation Center, and The General Store North Shore.

We offer a variety of items for patients at MGH, as well as for employees and visitors. We sell Flowers, Balloons, Gourmet Food, Toys, Candles, Gifts, Women's Clothing, Accessories, Logo Merchandise, Medical Scrubs, and Shoes.

Our team is made up of committed professionals who have worked at MGH for years, many of us with over 10 years at the shops. We are committed to providing excellent customer service and will do our best to meet your needs.
