Residents and visitors alike can enjoy views of Boston Harbor and the city’s skyline at Tall Ship at Pier One, one of the most flexible event venues in East Boston. The Tall Ship has three venue options that are great for casual private and corporate events, a catering menu created by the James Beard Award-winning chef Marc Orfaly, and a public transit friendly location.

This Sunday, we’ll return to the Seacoast Cancer 5K ! As one of the largest road races in New Hampshire, the event welcomes more than 1,800 participants and fundraisers to benefit the Mass General Cancer Center at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital . After months of preparation, we’re honored to manage race day, and we can’t wait to feel the positive energy throughout Portsmouth and the Seacoast region.

In ten days, we'll team up with Lahey Hospital & Medical Center for its 12th annual Lahey Cancer Institute 5K Walk & Run! Hundreds of participants will gather in Burlington, MA on September 6 to raise awareness and funds for the care of local cancer patients and their families. We've assisted with the pre-event planning for months, and we’re excited to put our best foot forward in support of such an important cause.

Though Zoë only joined Conventures full-time last year, we can't (and don't want to) imagine doing what we do without her! She's an integral part of our Special Events team and helps us organize galas, conferences, and corporate gatherings. We had an amazing time last week at our summer company outing at The Tall Ship on Pier One! Our staff split into teams to compete in a costume contest and co****le tournament for a year's worth of bragging rights. After some friendly competition, our team enjoyed the sunset and each other's company while eating and sipping delicious pizza and drinks.

This morning, the Massachusetts Lodging Association hosts its 31st Annual Outlook, a forecasting event where lodging properties learn about projections for room rates, occupancy rates, and demand. Located at the Thomas Michael Menino Convention and Exhibition Center, guests will gain valuable insights to stay ahead of industry trends while networking with their peers. Conventures will help produce the event and oversee the guest registration process for everyone checking in.

All hands on deck - our team is currently in the Motor City to bring Sail Detroit to life with the Detroit Wayne County Port Authority ! From now through Sunday, Sail Detroit will celebrate the city's maritime history while welcoming Tall Ships and thousands of residents and tourists. Attendees will be able to explore historic Tall Ships, meet crew members, and set sail along the Detroit River. Our team will be on-site helping coordinate logistics for a fun time on both land and the river.

Over the last three days, our team has been spread throughout Boston to manage the 50th annual NCSL Legislative Summit by National Conference of State Legislatures , the nation’s largest gathering of legislators and legislative staff. Thousands of attendees have gathered in Boston for networking events, social outings, keynote speakers, and more. But the party isn't over yet! Our team will continue to help showcase our great city to our guests tonight with food, drinks, and live entertainment.

It's , and we're extending a thank you to our interns working behind the scenes helping bring to life events of all types! To celebrate the holiday, our team organized "Conventures College" today where our interns had the opportunity to learn from all departments and present on their hard work throughout the summer.

Shoutout to our Summer 2025 Interns: Lily Ferguson, Charlotte Crellin, Kendal Parker, Delaney Roscoe, Annabel Meyer, Maya Frey, and Avery Hayes
