Does anyone know why the Massachusetts Teachers Association

Massachusetts, Alaska, Colorado, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada, and Ohio are non-Social Security states. This means that you, as a member of a contributory retirement system, pay into our system instead of Social Security; you do not earn any Social Security “credits” or “quarters” for your MTRS contributions or service.

Not many can say their music career spans from the days of the RCA Victrola (Rags To Riches) to streaming music. Tony Bennett's passing marks truly the official end of an Era. There will be many an article written about this remarkable man's remarkable life journey so I'll be brief.

I just want to say, Anthony Dominick Benedetto, thank you for your service (Army PFC) to our country 1944-1946, and most of all, thank you, thanks you, for your Music. May God Bless you and watch over your family.
