With over 25 years of experience, AJ Williams is the creative visionary behind AJ Events’ experiential design ex*****on and fundraising. AJ‘s work is always ambitious —and often unconventional— her work reflects a bold, can-do attitude, where bringing a client’s vision to life is not only possible but paramount. AJ masterminds cutting-edge experiences for corporate and private events, she exceeds expectations with event publicity & fundraising for her non-profit clients, and designs beautiful and thoughtful events for social clients. AJ credits a background across multiple disciplines as key to her creativity, savvy production, and innate flexibility. After Massachusetts College of Art, she worked in publishing, catering, fashion, and eventually marketing—before launching AJ Events. AJ’s ability, unique talents and outstanding reputation have made her a tremendous success. She has been named in BizBash “Top Event Producers of the Year”, “Areas Top Meeting and Event Planning Companies” every year since 2003, and Boston Herald’s top 10 event planners.
She surpasses what’s expected of a typical event planner – executing comprehensive strategic event campaigns, as well as orchestrating successful fundraising campaigns for clients –all in house. This allows for unmatched quality control and ensures that the vision stays cohesive, putting AJ Events in a category all on its own. AJ executes press worthy fundraisers with celebrities Jennifer Hudson, Queen Latifah, Anthony Anderson, President Bill Clinton, Michael McDonald, Wyclef, Vanessa Williams, Danny Glover, Common, The Eagles, Run DMC, Jimmy Fallon’s The Roots, and many more.
