Meet our next Crossings Gallery Artist, Yi Cynthia Chen!

Chen, based out of Brighton, MA, uses oil painting to explore dynamics between social constructs, daily experiences, and mental and ecological health. These dreamlike paintings invite you to linger in a world where reality and imagination blend, and everyday details—sunflowers, tangled roots, torrential water—become gateways to deeper questions.

We're excited to have Chen's, Reaching through Fog: Opaque Paintings, on display starting October 30 through December 17. Be sure to join us for our Gallery Reception and Artist Talk on Wednesday, November 5!
