In comparison to anything in life if you want to have longevity in something you have to believe in yourself. Here's a few things to know along the way. Always stay working on your craft. The difference today from when I started the technology & social media presence has evolved. You need to know how to adapt to the changes.
Even though you may specialize in certain styles of music still keep yourself open to being versatile. Globally there is alot of amazing music out there. If your really about your craft take the time to do the research, listen to the music, organize your library, practice your cuts, blends, drops at home. That way when your on the road your skills are tight. Take the time to network, shake hands, check out your peers events when your free to keep a fresh ear to what everyone is vibing to. For me there's always so much to learn from this world of DJing. People hear what I do for a living & don't take it seriously because its not a 9-5. This is a 24/7 as a business owner.
I let them keep that same energy while I keep my focus on working. This is the same DJ career that has helped me start my own corporation, employee numerous DJs, purchase my home, give back to the community, teach numerous DJs how to spin & the list can keep going. When many support and bet on others, always make sure to bet on yourself. Nothing is overnight, keep working..

Waking up feeling blessed 🤲🏾. Another year around the sun! Taking some time to reflect on the ups and downs i've been through this past few years. One thing I can honestly say by the grace of God I'm still here standing strong with a smile on my face. So in the words of my brother
"I want to thank me for believing in me, I want to thank me for doing all this hard work. I wanna thank me for having no days off. I wanna thank me for never quitting. I wanna thank me for always being a giver and trying to give more than I receive. I wanna thank me for trying to do more right than wrong. I wanna thank me for being me at all times."
