Jozer G Y La Fiesta is a dynamic group of talented musicians creating a new energetic sound, combining Cumbia and Reggaetón. Fronted by one of Denver’s most unique voices, Jozer G, and backed by an all star band composed of all your favorite musicians, you can expect a sweaty dance party full of wild guitar riffs and hypnotic güira scratching that will keep them nalgas shaking all night.

We want to congratulate Cassandra and Katie on their debut short film, "The Bike," which premiered tonight at Manos Sagrados! We're grateful to have hosted, and can't wait to see what's next.

Cassandra Lopez and Katie Maloney are the directorial team behind the short film "The Bike." Both born and raised in Denver, they bring fresh talent and vision to the world of filmmaking.

Cassandra is an emerging director of photography, while Katie is an aspiring director and writer. The pair is dedicated to empowering young filmmakers and actors by providing hands-on experience on professional sets. They strive to build a vibrant community of young creatives in the Denver area, fostering collaboration, support, and mutual growth in their artistic journeys. "The Bike" marks their first collaboration, and they look forward to working on future projects together.

In celebration of the work that SETH has done here in the Denver community, we are so grateful to have hosted this evening centering his work and the release of his audiobook, "The Odyssey According to SETH," and hear stories in retrospect of his collaborators and friends. The book is available now, and SETH is headed towards retirement (but he's now done yet!). The Jam Before the Slam continues every Sunday at the legendary Mercury Cafe, now hosted by Yohanan. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this very special evening!

We caught up with the wordsmith known as SETH last week in preparation for his upcoming audio book release this weekend.

SETH, well known in the Denver poetry scene and beyond, is planning on beginning his journey retirement from performing with this show. The audio book, which he says has culminated from his life's works - spanning poetry, improv, and more - and features philosophical conversation over layers of music and carefully crafted retrospection.

The event features the improv stylings of Art Compost and The Word Mechanics, who have sat beside SETH weekly at the Jam Before the Slam at the Mercury Cafe.

One of our favorite releases of the year came from Helado Negro, and we're celebrating PHASOR with a screening of Spencer Kelly's short film about the album, "Stories of PHASOR" near the anniversary of this release. Come check out the film, and listen through the album with us on Friday, February 7th!

So pleased to announce some of our residencies beginning in January!

Join us Friday, January 3rd for our Clavé Jam, hosted by the one and only Gio Chamba! Bring your own instruments to join in, or come enjoy some Cumbias, Chichas y más! Every First Friday at 8p, so you can check out the art walk along the Aurora Cultural Arts District.

Then, every 3rd Thursday, come dance with resident DJ, s.t3v for Channel 52. As with everything this amazing artist does, vibes will be *immaculate* with intention and care. 8p-close, come dance and vibe with us!
