Renowned classical vocalist Renée Fleming will be performing in Macky Auditorium Jan. 31 at 7:30 p.m. ! 🎶 💫

Fleming shares her beautiful artistry through classical, romantic and contemporary music, using it as a device to explore interactions between nature and humanity.

This performance is a live vocal concert that simultaneously features an original film by the National Geographic Society, “Voice of Nature: the Anthropocene.”

The Boulder Philharmonic presents the world premiere of WIND, WATER, SAND, a stunning new composition by adventurer-composer Stephen Lias, at our first Masterworks performance of 2025, at Macky Auditorium on January 12!

Lias, known for his creative residencies at over a dozen U.S. National Parks—including Colorado’s Great Sand Dunes and Rocky Mountain—captures the essence of the natural world in his music. This marks the third time the Phil has premiered one of his works, including a piece supported by an NEA grant performed at the Kennedy Center.

Experience the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Sand Dunes brought to life in this extraordinary musical journey. 🌄🎶
