Natural Transitions Film Festival Saturday, October 12, 2013, Day 1: Film, performance, filmmaker/expert panels. Short, intensive training in home-based, family led after-death care.

Embracing our living and dying - A two-day event featuring award-winning films, along with performance, panel discussion and educational workshops, that focus on conscious, holistic, and green approaches to end-of-life. Sunday, October 13, 2013, Day 2: EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS on conscious, holistic, and green end-of-life care. Day 1: Short film series, Epilogue performances (light-hearted, humorous

and uplifting death monologues), and our showcase film , the award-winning documentary: A Will for the Woods – the story of a dying man’s wish to leave a legacy of green burial – with director, Amy Browne, in attendance, as well as Billy and Kimberly Campbell, founders of the first conservation burial ground in the US (also featured in the film). We’ll have information tables and a “live” wake room, decorated to replicate a home wake room (a room in which the dead are laid out by family members for home visitation). Location: the spectacularly renovated E-Town Hall on Spruce Street in Boulder, CO. E-Town is home to the national radio show, E-Town, spotlighting environmental initiatives and showcasing great music. Day 2: A Day of Workshops and trainings for those who are inspired by our Day 1 offerings and are seeking to deepen their knowledge of green and holistic approaches to death care. Other workshop offerings to be announced soon. Location: TBD in Boulder, CO.
